Gorgeous store with lovely and hilarious staff. I walked in as they were finishing prepping the new window and everyone was an absolute delight. Absolutely for evening wear.

I called this store because I was looking for the wedding dress of my dreams. So when I found the stunning white gown featured in there add in Bazaars spring issue I instantly knew it was the one. It was elegant, beautiful, and perfect for my beach wedding. So I did my research, found there store in LA, and called. I asked if they had this dress in-store so that I could try it on, I was asked what size I was, by the very flamboyant man on the other line, and I said«I am usually a small, extra small, a 4, or a 36, if we are going into European sizes.» This also depending on the dress, and if they run big or small. The man then proceeded to tell me that I am not an extra small, or small for that matter, then when I asked if I could come in and try on the dress he proceeded to ask what my budget was. I said«3,000 «Now this dress is 7,000+, and I understood that from the very beginning as I did my research, and was willing to spend the money for a gown that I truly loved. Especially if it meant walking down the aisle in something as flawless as this gown. But if I was going to make this kind of investment, I would need to see how it looked on my body. Before I could even get the words out he said and I quote, «O no we can’t have hundreds of people trying this dress on these are very special dress. You can come look at it and see if u like it.» Never have I ever been so insulted not only did he insult my size, but also insulted my class!!! This was truly unacceptable. To be so insulted, and miss treated over what is supposed to be my wedding gown!!! Something that is supposed to be so exciting, and happy for me, this is just sad and disheartening. Someone could have made a 7000+ commission but to be honest all take my money elsewhere.

As I am writing this review, I am shocked to see the previous one regarding the manager, Dean. He certainly does not strike me as someone who would ever say something that could be misconstrued as rude or dismissive. I found him to be the consummate professional who did everything to make my shopping experience wonderful. I never felt pressured and he was very honest when I asked for his opinion which I valued and listened to. Any company would be lucky to have him on their team. I have never been to a boutique where the manager was so involved and helpful. Spending thousands of dollars was actually a fun experience and will definitely go back because of him. The store is immaculate and I noticed how every piece of clothing was perfectly displayed. One of the items I bought was a purse and many times the floor model might have a scratch or mark but it looked like it had just come out of the box. You can see how well the merchandise is maintained. Alberta Ferretti is known for luxury and quality which the store reflects but it is the manager who is responsible for your overall experience and it was on par with what the brand stands for.

I have never been more offended or mistreated at a store in my entire life(and by the store manager no less). Dean, the manager in question, was rude and dismissive to me and to my friends. I was in the store to pick up a purchase that I’d made the prior week. I was trying on 3 other pieces and he repeatedly sent the sales clerk in to rush us out of the store. One of my friends overheard him making negative comments about me wearing one of the dresses. This level of service is completely inexcusable so despite the fact that there’s another dress there i am dying to have, i will NOT ever return to that store or buy Alberta Ferreti again as long as he is employed there.
