Never again. The bartender took my credit card and gave it to someone else who charged alot of money at the gas station next door. I watched a fat ugly dancer wearing a bandana get hand jobs from patrons to tipped him a buck. So illegal and so nasty. This place is filthy and too expensive and smells like rotten mold and sadness.

I came here for my bfs coworkers comedy show on a Friday night. this bar is pretty small with average drinks but it was a good time. I’d go back if it was easier to find parking in the area (definitely not fubars fault but still).

I used to like going to this bar, I’ve frequented it many times on different nights. This past Thursday during BFD, someone who I guess works there got unnecessarily physically angry at me for attempting to take a snapchat vid of the dancer. I wish he had approached me in a different manner, but he was aggressive and demeaning. He even called me names.
I understand that they may not want videos of what goes on inside, but then they should have posted a notice to notify the customers at the door. This type of action is so unnecessarily, aggressive, and childish. I wouldn’t have never tried to take a snapchat if I knew it wasn’t ‘allowed.‘
I want to prevent other people from having the unpleasant exerperince in had. I would rate it higher because the music is usually on point, and the crowd is fun, but my experience tonight makes me think this place is run by immature persons who don’t know how to handle crowds.
P. S. It always has smelled like crap and still does. You can smell it when you walk past the door, even when they’re closed.

Tell me this is not true. $ 36 for 2 vodka and Redbull, one Coke and one Sex on the beach.
Are you fucking me? This is the most expensive drives I ever had in a place like this. The bar tender is a Caucasian guy with a full bread bared chest. $ 36 for a soda and four drink? No thank you! Not coming back.

I always have a good time but this past Sunday was awesome. The bartender Trey was very fast. I didn’t have to wait for a drink either time I went up to the bar…

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Let’s start with the fact that the bar tender didn’t want to make us a drink because my friend «didn’t tip well» LOL OKAY! are you kidding me? I am extremely offended by the way things went down tonight. I went here for my friends Bachelorette party to have a good time. One of my girls asked a bar tender if our friend who is getting married could get a free drink. I guess gay guys don’t like girls asking for free drinks cause his response was «you need to leave and so does your friend. She drank too much.» Excuse me? All we did was ask for a drink. My friend sat in a chair to chill for a bit and we were told to leave. She was not «too» drunk, she had a drink and a half. On top of that another worker, who goes by the name of «Sinner (lol what kind of person names himself that)» clearly had an issue with us as he couldn’t get his hands off me and actually got physical. I am in shock by the way things were handled here tonight. We should have known it was a terrible place to go based off the ratings. Don’t get me wrong, the dancers were great. But the way my friends and I were treated, as if they’re doing us a favor for letting us in is unacceptable. Mr «sinner» who probably suffers from diabetes because he’s obese (you wouldn’t be able to find his neck under those chins even if you tried) had the audacity to call me a fat ugly b***h (mind u I weight 115 Pounds haha! So it really shows how he feels about himself) He told me to f**k off. He touched me inappropriately and tried pushing me till I told him I’d press charges. The fact that a bar carries a person of such low quality and such low self esteem just shows the quality of the bar itself (I think the nasty dude was even missing teeth). Do not go here if you’re looking for a good time. Not worth it. I have marks on my arm to prove it and I will press charges.

This is the place to be! Probably the best gay bar in West Hollywood on a Thursday night! I highly recommend anyone to stop in.
This bar is highlighted by cheap drink prices, friendly people, quick/​accessible bartenders, and good vibes. The music here is great, and I always have a great time when I go. A+ for ambiance and service. This place can really be host to a fun night.
Parking is challenging here, so I highly recommend all to just take an über and leave the stress at home. Trust me, you’ll thank me later.

This is the place to be! Best bar in west Hollywood. Especially on Thursdays! Highly recommend anyone to stop in. Good drink prices, hot men, and good vibes :)

I’d love to start this review out by saying how I have awesome memories here but truth be told, I don’t retain too many memories after a night of fun here =/​lol. I’ve been numerous times, and only for Big Fat D!^K Night. It’s dark and dingy and overly sexual from the music, to the patrons, to just the over all environment. And please let me point out, that this is NOT a complaint. I know what I’m getting into, when I go to an establishment, where patrons compete to who has the nicest (and usually biggest) member. I mean it is called Big Fat D!^K Night for a reason. Last time I went was this past summer and it wasn’t as crowded as it was a couple years ago, but it’s still a fun place to go to with friends, have a drink, and fondle some gogo dancers and a crude and divey atmosphere. I know I’ll be back at some point.

The drinks are expensive. They probably don’t even but the 1.5 oz of
Alcohol. I ordered a beer because I got tired of paying for soda water lol.
I got an IPA on draft. The worse mistake ever. I got a pint and they gave me at least 4 ounces of foam. So I literally got a 12 Oz beer.
On the way out my drunk friend touched the gogo dancer and continued walking. He literally followed us outside and pinched me. Leaving me a bruise. Idk if I should go n do a police report or just ignore the behavior that the good are doing for a dollar.

Fubar is an old-​timey gay bar that’s been bringing in a hot young crowd. Best nights are Tuesdays for ‘Booty Pop Queen’ — dope DJ with a live band — and Thursdays for ‘Big Fat D***’ (what it sounds like.) A dependable local favorite for a good time out.

The dancers are kind of skanky, but in a good way I guess. The bartenders are rude and bitchy though. I come to this bar whenever I’m in town, but being an out-​of-​towner is definitely not welcome at this bar. I’d recommend for locals only. Avoid otherwise.

Cheap, strong drinks. Cute gogo boys. The night we went there, there was some mysterious voice (the DJ?) who commanded the gogo boys to flex and dance all together at midnight while blaring ‘All of the Lights’ by Kanye and making the bar pitch black.
If this is what a gay dystopia looks like, then I’m all for it. Feels more like a bar you’d find in the East Village in NY or SoMa in SF.

The bartender flipped me off to my face when I tried to order a drink. It would’ve been funnier if I was drunk but I wasn’t. I was like «homie, you know me?»

It’s dark, its smelly, the drinks are expensive, lots of the carbonated mixers are flat and the music is hit or miss. Definitely not the best bar around, but WEHO needs a bar like this. Has a NYC or SF kind of vibe to it, at least in the type bar it is. The crowd is pretty much the same people that are at most of the other bars. But the bar itself is completely different from anything else around here and for that reason I give Fubar 4 stars.

Full of yawning gogo dancers. Literally straight up yawning. Otherwise amazing venue.

This place almost never fails to deliver one heck of a show! I highly recommend it for a ‘just outside downtown WeHo’ bar experience. They walk the line of all that’s great in gay culture with a wonderful hint of the sub-​culture we all enjoy. McGovern did drop the beat a few times but all in all great taste in music as usual. Saturday night is the night to go! Tip well peeps, tip well, you will be rewarded! (A tip under $ 5 is not a tip btw;)

I used to be a big fan, actually the biggest fan of the bar back in the day. My single days, back when Chi Chi had a night. Frankie always let me in with out waiting in line and I always left for the long FUBAR walk home very happy. I would hate to see anything defame this bar such as: watered down drinks and straight girls F-​ING strippers in the bathroom. This place is the anti-​Abbey which gives it, its cache.
I hope the father in law is not getting too involved (we all saw the homophobia from that guy, on your reality show). I am rooting for FUBAR! I want to come back. I am giving you 5 stars in hopes that you stay in the hood.

Fubar possesses a very particular ambience, and I think that is a large part of its appeal. Nestled on the far end of the WeHo strip, this dark, intimate, and slightly seedy dive bar provides an entirely different atmosphere than most of the more well-​publicized bars/​clubs down the street. Don’t get me wrong, I love Micky’s and the Abbey and Revolver as much as the next guy, but there’s a small-​town feel to Fubar that keeps me coming back. To be honest, I live so close that Fubar has basically become my Cheers, and everybody does get to know your name after a while. If you’re looking for something a little out of the ordinary, a little off the beaten path, and maybe a little dirtier than you’re used to seeing on the Strip, give Fubar a try. I sincerely doubt you’ll regret it.
(And if you’re lucky, you’ll go on a night when Trey is behind the bar. I could watch that man pour cocktails forever.)

Chad makes thee absolute BEST whiskey gingers in the Los Angeles area. Come in, get a drink and tip well. I DJ every other Sunday, so come out and support your local DJ!

This is easily one of my favorite gay bars. It’s dark, smoky, beat up, and filled with hot guys — staff, patrons, and gogos alike. Rare is the sight of a female patron here. So far I’ve only been on a handful of Thursdays (BFD is outrageous, I’d recommend everyone try it once) and one Saturday, but on both nights there was no cover and the host, DJ, and gogos have been great.
I would go for 5 stars but the drink situation has been hit-​or-​miss. Unfortunately, the regular drink prices are not cheap (as is the case in most of LA). Also, I once ordered a rum & Coke and the bartender proceeded to pour canned Pepsi into my beverage with no warning. It was gross.
All things considered, I always have a good time and look forward to my next visit!

This has got to be one of the sleaziest gay bars in West Hollywood, I think it could probably out sleaze MotherLode, which is probably why it’s located so far away from the normal pretentious gay bars who consist of the same Stepford Gays who all look, dress and sound the same. Which is why I absolutely loved coming here last night with my friend.
It was my first time and I had a blast. Yeah the drinks weren’t that good but the music was awesome and like all the other reviewers have said, the go go boys trashy in the best way possible.
Everyone was having fun and being themselves.
If you are a porn fan, come on Fridays, Brandon Wilde is the DJ. He spins some great tunes, wears a cute jock and occasionally comes out and twerks.

I hadn’t written a review for this place? Seems fishy. I’m 90% sure I did and it’s disappeared…
Anyway, I’m all for dive bars. I’ll take a dingy, sweaty atmosphere for cheap, stiff drinks. Fubar delivers on the first part, fails on the second.
At Fubar you get a Gold Coast (divey) setting, with Abbey (SBE nightclub) priced drinks, and Mickys (shitty) pours!
Premiums are $ 12 – 14 and I’ll be damned if there’s much more than a single shot in there…
I know it can be fun and raunchy and all on Thursdays and the weekends (which is why I’ll give it 2 stars instead of 1), but it gets so busy you can’t even move. And the restroom is horribly disgusting and small.
One would expect a little cleanliness and modernity with the beverly hills prices you pay here for drinks!

This bar is a good representation of what clubs use to be. I found the clientele to be friendly, approachable and not at all pretentious. The music is excellent, the vibe is great, and it’s intimate. On Fridays the club night is called Rebelde, which is probably one of the hottest club nights I’ve experienced in a while. The dancers are hot, and raunchy in a good way. I definitely recommend this spot.
The only negative I’ve experienced is the bar staff. The drinks are weak and there is no consistency with pricing. On one end of the bar you’ll pay $ 8 and on the other you’ll pay $ 10 for the same drink. When I mentioned this I was given attitude as if I made the mistake. :-) I brushed it off because all else was great, but thought this was worth mentioning. For this reason I have to give this spot 4 stars.

Fubar is a grungy gem on Santa Monica. It reminds me of my favorite gay dive bars in Philly. The crowd is chill, music is loud, and the go go boys are trashy in the best way possible.
Highly recommended for an alternative to the glam WeHo scene.

This bar is whatever. Order beer because their liquor selection sucks.
About 3 weeks ago I ordered Maker’s Mark on the rocks. I pretty much ONLY drink Maker’s and it was sooooooo watered down.
Tonight I ordered tequila on the rocks (because Makers was such a bust last time) and the same thing. Watered down tequila on ice. If I’m going to pay $ 8, I’d expect at least a real SPLASH of tequila, opposed to a watered down SPLASH. Screw this place. That’s why I never come here anymore. Stick to beer and just drink that all night.
