Skillets Family Cafe

Local café we decided to try out for something different. Right away I could tell it was your average café. We got seated right away and our waitress was very nice. Our table had an old opened butter container on it which was an immediate turn off. The menu was huge with tons of breakfast options. Our food came out super fast and was relatively good. My boyfriend loved his food my however was mediocre. We probably won’t be coming back to skillets. Definitely recommend Ozark Café if you’re looking for a good breakfast place!

Stopped for a quick breakfast on a Sunday morning on our way to Memphis. This a popular place with the locals as it was pretty crowded. Despite the crowd, we were seated promptly and the service was pleasant, attentive and efficient.
The food was average at best. Buffalo diner china is nice, but needs to be warmed before serving an egg breakfast. Eggs were already cool when they arrived. Hash browns were shredded and grilled, but the shredded cheese added to the top, probably after placed on the plate, was still cold from the fridge and never did melt into the food. Same with «biscuits» and gravy. The bread was a yeast roll (not really a biscuit) that started at room temperature, so, between it and the cold plate, the gravy lost any warmth it may have had pretty quickly. The breakfast meat however was quite good.

Very good, tasty food. Excellent hash browns with generous portions. Excellent, fast, courteous service. Staff were very pleasant and the seemed to enjoy working together. This is a very comfortable family style restaurant.

A little gem of a diner. Our server was prompt and professional. The food was delicious and fresh! I wish that they had one where I lived, as I would be in there all of the time. A great little place for breakfast or lunch!

Love this place!!! Their skillets are great, and the best part is that you can get breakfast anytime!

This is your typical breakfast place. Prices were reasonable, service was quick, and the food was average. The bacon was soooo salty that we couldn’t eat it.
