Dinner was ok… we saved room for desert and had a to go box for breakfast… we forgot the box on the table and called within 5 minutes to tell them we would be back for it! First phone call Paige we got hung up on… second call to, shift leader Michele said she couldn’t do anything! I said what about a breakfast for the morning… since they serve breakfast… she said NO… so we paid full price for dinner… to save room for dessert and they threw our box out within 5 minutes… with no help… I would not ever return there!!! So much for customer service! they are horrible !!!

Great service — fast and attentive. Wide selection for breakfast and reasonably priced. Our food was cooked to perfection and was very good. I will return to this restaurant when I return to West Yellowstone.

Went the first day and the service was good and the food was also good. The next day we came again and the manager was extremely rude and has no idea what good customer service is. We ended up leaving because I refuse to give my money to disrespectful people! I wouldn’t recommend to anyone who likes to be treated with respect. Ended up going to the slippery otter and it was 1,000,000 times better! Don’t waste your time or money here.

They deserve way more than their 3 star rating. The food was excellent. I loved the game meatloaf and the trout my husband got was great. Both my kiddos loved the burgers too. The service was great but a little slow. We weren’t in a hurry so no big deal. The prices were a little high but not over priced compared to the other restraints in the area. Good family friendly restaurant!

Also alles gut und Guten Appetit.

Food quality was disappointing. The breaded«jumbo» shrimps were mostly bread covering. The Romaine lettuce in the Caesar salad was limp and wilted. The steak was underdone, whereas the buffalo was overdone. Salad bar selection was very limited, with only iceberg lettuce(no spring mix, spinach, Romaine, or other«real» salad greens). On the plus side, the tomato basil soup, the salmon, and the trout were good, as was the service.

Arrived Sunday morning for breakfast. We were seated immediately and had our breakfast served soon thereafter. We had eggs, pancakes, bacon, toast and hash browns. They were all generous portions and tasted good. The huckleberries on the pancakes were generous as well.

Waited for for over 25 minutes for table, and after seeing other groups walk in after us and get seated before us, we decide to go somewhere else. We went to Canyon Street Grill instead! Got seated right away and our order taken within 5 minutes. Don’t waste your time at Three Bears!

Six of us ate here after a long day in Yellowstone. We had to send two plates back immediately because they were cold(meatloaf; chicken Alfredo). Kids’ chicken strips were burnt. Other kid’s bison burger was dry and plain. Garlic bread was freezer burnt and hard as a rock. Waitress was great, though! And the one plate of open face hot roast beef was very well-liked. Soup and salad bar was good too. Overall, pretty disappointing.

Waited an extended period of time for water. Egg white omelet had more cheese than egg white and the egg white’s were not cooked and runny. 1st time ever having a runny egg white omelet

We were so pleased with the Three Bear Restaurant. It was attached to your hotel, the Three Bear Lodge. Breakfast was included with our room. The Baby Bear pancake for kids was big and our kids were thrilled that it was he shape of a bear face. The hot chocolate cake with a tower of whipped cream. They also gave the kids Wiki Stix to play with. These kept out kids occupied all day! The adult meals were big and delicious. I ate breakfast and didn’t have to eat again until dinner. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our kids wanted to go back for every meal while we were in West Yellowstone.

I would give zero star if i can. Terrible service, extremely slow. It took 30 min for them to cook 6 eggs and did not even get them right. I ordered sunny side down but got sunny side up instead.

Took the family here after a recommend from a local, glad we did. Hubby had the trout, son had the buffalo burger and I had the crab stuffed trout. All were delicious. We also had the mashed potatoes which were real and wonderful. Salad bar was small, don’t think I would have ordered just that for dinner. Customer service was excellent, everyone was smiling and very attentive.

OK. This could have been better. I dined on a Sunday evening there. First of all I think it is rude to your customers if you supposed to be open at five and you are not open when you should be. That being said my wife and me had the prime rib and the rib eye buffalo steak. The prime rib was good(as all prime rib should be) The buffalo steak on the other hand was pretty tasteless. No evidence it had seen any salt pepper etc. Looked like it had been taken out of the fridge thrown into a pan with no other preparation. I added my own salt and pepper at table(I never do this) and ate the steak with au jus. Maybe this was a function of the animal but I just think the food was prepared poorly.

Jessica our waitress is very polite and attentive. The restaurant wasn’t busy for breakfast but service was extemely slow. Maybe the cooking staff should stop talking so loud and get down to their job. Western Omelet with hash browns was super. French Toast was good as well. Very reasonable as far as price.

We asked for a recommendation for a restaurant to get a good steak and Three Bear Restaurant was one of the options. I thought the name was cute, so we thought we would head over there. Three Bear is the restaurant operated by the Three Bear Lodge. We walked in and waited to be seated — the hostess took us to a booth and gave us menus. There were glasses and a pitcher of water already on the table. We perused the menu, which had a lot of options, including burgers, sandwiches, pastas, and other types of entrees. We zeroed in on the page with the Chef’s Specialties, which had the various steak and bison options. They offer prime rib, bison ribeye, angus ribeye, filet mignon, bison sirloin tips, elk medallions, pork chops, roasted chicken, and more. I really wanted to try a bison dish, so I asked the server if the bison sirloin tips were good and she said they were, so that’s what I picked. When you order an entrée from the Chef’s Specialty section, you pick two sides, which include a build-you-own salad from the salad bar, soup from the soup bar, a baked potato, veggie fritters, mashed potatoes, mac & cheese, french fries, and green beans. I picked the salad and the mac n cheese. For the salad, at least if you get it with the entrée, it’s not unlimited. The server told me it was just one visit, which is slightly lame. So I tried to pile my little salad plate really high with veggies. The rest of the table ordered the angus ribeye with salad, soup, mashed potatoes, and green beans. The salad was okay — there was this pasta fixing that I added and it was kind of on the salty side. Salad fixings included cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, broccoli, cauliflower, boiled eggs, baby corn, mushrooms, beans, peas, and more. They also had colorful tortilla strips, sunflower seeds, croutons, and like some sort of cheese cracker for toppings too. From the soup bar, there was a veggie soup and what I thought was clam chowder, but whatever it was, it was watery and not that good. When we arrived back at our table, there were some dinner rolls with butter on our table. The dinner rolls looked like they were from the store — just pulled apart. When our entrees came, the portions were huge! My plate had several of the sirloin tips and a heaping serving of mac n cheese, and also a few grapes — for decoration maybe? The bison sirloin tips were okay — they were actually really tough and chewy. I ordered it cooked medium. The angus ribeye was better. The mac n cheese had this flavor that taste like the Kraft kind that you get at the grocery store, very orange and cheddary. I actually like the box mac n cheese, so this kind of reminded me of childhood. They used the pasta noodles that look like shells. The green beans were good but kind of salty. The mashed potatoes were good. Overall, this place was sort of a mixed bag. Some things were good, some things weren’t bad. But this place offers a lot of variety on their menu, so there’s bound to be something everyone in your party can eat(unless it’s Asian, cuz they don’t have that). Service was fine. And there were actually a lot of people eating here.

Even the tap water in this place was delicious. Hubby and I got Bison burgers with fries. Burgers appeared to be on home baked buns with the usual trimmings. Thick, juicy and flavorful burgers. The fries were big, crispy and yummy. My mom got salmon, baked potato, salad bar and Ham & Bean soup. My dad got the same but with boneless pork chops. We all really enjoyed our dinners and the restaurant in general. And our waitress was friendly and attentive. We are staying at the ThreeBear Lodge for three nights and doing 2 Yellowstone tours. This is a great place to visit, stay and to eat. Ate there a few more times… Once more for dinner and three times for breakfast. We had vouchers, what can I say? Service in the morning MUCH slower than it was in the evening. You might get your coffee refilled, then again maybe not.

It’s small and busy. The staff are ok. The good makes up for it. At the end of the meal we figured out what the best would be to order… The salad bar was good the soup was great … homemade chili. The ribeye was good. All the baked potatoes hand sour cream have chives in them. The potato skins were amazing. Good ice tea and good brownie dessert with ice cream. Ask to sit away from kids. I have two kids but there were locals with kids that say next to us and it was disgusting. There kid got sick at the table and the parents didn’t even care.
