M & R Tile and Remodeling

When we hired Dan Madden (M&R Tile), we thought we were hiring a contractor. We had to monitor 100% of the work and change about 50% because he did not plan appropriately. Contractor’s job right?!?
Furthermore, we were not told of several problems until it was too late. We were not consulted on placement of bathroom finishes– it’s OUR bathroom. Workers scratched brand new shower heads as they were installing — looks terrible! Floor too high. Leaking shower door…
Finally, Dan showed up to sell his services before we started but we only saw him once again. It was a month long project that we were told would take 2 weeks max! Dan Madden refuses to give you his cell phone number — you must call his assistant and he will get back to you at HIS earliest convenience (who hired whom?)Be prepared to take more vacation days from work and act like a contractor when you hire Dan Madden and M&R Tile. No compensation/​remediation from M&R Tile. In fact, not even a, «I’m sorry.» Avoid!
