The hieu tieu, in my opinion, is the best. The prices are pretty low as well. My one peeve about the place is that it’s small. Even so, the food is great, there’s free nuoc mat, and it’s cheap.

The food is nothing to write home about, it taste exactly like what it’s suppose to taste like, it doesn’t suck, but nothing spectacular either, what is spectacular is the prices, 4 $ for a bowl of noodles, that has got the be the cheapest price for a meal at a sit down waiter service restaurant i’ve ever seen, not too shabby

Very bad service the waiter act a boss and so mean like they want to run customer away. The price is cheap but the food is very bad too. And they will charge everything without telling you like napkins, or a little sauce. I go for the first time and i will never come back.

Their signature dish tastes good. I had medium size but it was for lunch. I would probably have to shoot for a big bowl if I’m going to have dinner. Also the sauce that comes with hu tieu thanh xuan is tasty, I personally like it. Good service, cheap, food comes real quick. Come check it out!

The environment of this restaurant is run-down and dirty, and the house special hu tieu lacked flavor. But once, I added the side sauces and vegetables, it was pretty decent. My one good point about this place is that their prices and portion sizes are awesome! Their $ 4.95 medium bowl made me really full so it was worth the money.

First one star rating ever! I was doing a foodie run with my parents and this was our last stop on our list. I guess they use to come here and wanted to know if this place was the same. I ended up ordering noodles and thought it was kind of bland. I ordered the noodles dry and it came with two sauces. One red sauce and a clear broth. I didn’t really like the red sauce so I ended up pouring the broth over the noodles to give it some flavor. I believe 3 bowls of noodles was only 16 bucks. It is a good deal but I rather spend my money for better food elsewhere. I think the service here needs some work. The guy who was helping us kind of treated us like he didn’t care. I think he was kind of rude too. My dad is 70 years old and if it hard for him to order correctly and take some time to figure out what he wants, then I would think you would try to have some patient. Respect the elder. The waiter sounded so annoy. So unprofessional and I know how bad service is around this area but this one is the worst I ever encounter. I was having a good day with my parent and this place ruin it for me. Never will I come here again. There are tons of other restaurant that I can check out in this area.

Price for Hu tieu my tho starts at $ 4. The smallest bowl is not enough, so I usually get the medium size. I like the soup kind more than the dry kind. This place is across from Asian garden mall in the corner of the plaza.

4 stars for this place??? You guys must be kidding me. The fact that it’s cheap can’t make up for mediocre food and shitty service. PLEASEREMEMBERTHATYOUGETWHATYOUPAYFOR!!! Here is the reason I’m writing this review. They only gave the 4 of us 1 tiny plate of veggies including some bean sprout and like 3 small branches of tong ho and tiny pieces of lime. We asked for more tong ho, a small both of just broth, and some of the dipping sauce since my friend spilled his. So when we were about to pay for the food at the register, they told us it was $something but didn’t give us a receipt that listed what we were charged for. So I asked if I could see the receipt because it didn’t seem right. The cashier was kinda hesitate then said they don’t have a receipt just kitchen check and«I don’t know if you can read it!» WTF??? I CANREADAND I KNOWMATH! DONOTTHINKYOUCANTRICKME! Well so I insisted on looking at the check and found out they charged us extra for the tong ho and the dipping sauce and the broth! WTFISTHISSH*T??? They didn’t give out enough in the first place, 2 people will have to share 1 branch of tong ho or whaaatt??? I asked and the cashier then raised his voice and said BECAUSETHEFOODISCHEAPTHEYMUSTCHARGEFOREVERYEXTRATHING. Yes you can IFANDONLYIF you stated that on the menu or at least tell us that you would charge extra for that. But in this case, THISISJUSTWRONG!!! VERYBADBUSINESSPRACTICE. On the quality of the food, they use canned quail eggs and shrimps aren’t fresh. But I guess you get what you pay for so as long as you’re ok with eating not-so-fresh food. Oh and I tasted tons of MSG in that broth too.

For real tho. When can I give zero stars. So we get the bill and something didn’t seem right. So we asked what deal. Lemme see the receipt. Then the cashier foo goin say oh u prolly can’t read it. Wtf bish u tryin say We can’t read. Foo i can’t barely understand they damn words coming out yo mouth. So what had happened is we dropped our dipping sauce on the floor asked for another one. And asked for a few more veggies and got charged for all that. Ain’t no one said we gonna be charged for it. You foo just brought out no problem. Didn’t mention anything about being extra charges. Then when we go to pay u goin say oh well our food is cheap so we gotta charge extra. Yea ur food is cheap and your fucking shady for not mention u goin charge extra. Screw this place. Ain’t ever goin back. Btw food sucked too. So that explains why it’s so cheap.

On my last visit I got a piece of lime that was used! This was unsanitary. I was so disappointed as I thought this place would be better. I know of other places recycling«stuff» but lime is cheap and if they do this what else do they recycle? They are nice folks but now I have to think twice before eating here again… I know they are keeping cost down but this is stretching things too much

If you’re looking for a delicious bowl of Hu Tieu Kho, this is the spot! I usually order to-go a small portion of «Hu Tieu Kho Dac Biet» and it’s less than $ 5. The tomato meat sauce that comes with the order is so yummy! They are generous with the veggies and you get a small steaming broth to pair with your bowl of noodles.

«Excellent» hu tieu in the OC. I recommend you order the«dried hi tieu«The restaurant is known for that dish. My favorite place to eat for satisfying the craving. The fresh ingredients are simple yet addicting. You’ll have a mixed of sweet, spicy, garlicky, crisp and sour in one bite. Highly recommended

Dishes start at 3.95 and don’t really range beyond 5.95. Parking is a little troublesome. Their Hu Tieu comes with bean sprouts and Tang O as vegetables and small sliced up cloves of garlic and fried onions. Their assortments of meat come in BBQ pork, fish patty, shrimp and a quail egg. A small is 3.95 which is more like a medium and a medium is more like a large and so forth. The staff here is really polite and willing to bring you a new bowl if you think they messed up on their order or if you are not satisfied. The flavoring is subtle and pretty good. The Mi Quang and Bun Bo Hue is not as decadent as it could be(still delicious) – but you can’t complain because it IS3.95−5.95 a bowl.

Very cheap hu tieu, I think it tasted okay, not bad. It would be so much better if they don’t put too much MSG. I could feel they used a ton of MSG after the first bite.

Ok… So I said it tasted the same in my «Tip»… Came back twice since and it’s not quite the same anymore BUT still decent both in taste & prices. Final thought… Although it doesn’t taste the same as before with the old owners, it’s still decent and affordable.

It’s located in the same plaza as the Seafood Cove #2, but across from it(if that makes sense…). Small place, but just tell the worker how many people you have and they will seat you right away. Like most other Vietnamese restaurants, they will stand there and wait to take your order. Just get the Hu Tieu! What we got: Free Nuoc Mat: they give you a lot of ice with it, but it’s refreshing and free! Medium Hu Tieu Dac Biet Kho($ 5): they have 3 different sizes and I think I would have been fine with a small. You have different options for their Hu Tieu, with soup or dry and either soft or chewy noodles. I like eating my Hu Tieu dry, but it does come with soup on the side. But if you eat it dry, it comes with this reddish/pinkish shrimp sauce. Pour it on top of the noodles, add some pickled garlic they provide at the table, squeeze some lemon/lime, and mix it all up! They also give you a veggie plate, but I enjoy it without it. Service: It was quick. Sit down, order, drinks come out, and then food not to long after. Go to the cash register to pay!

Great prices, great hu tieu! There are three different sizes — small for $ 3.99, medium for $ 4.99, and large for $ 5.99. That is ridiculously cheap. I think everybody could finish the large size, but the medium is the perfect portion size for if you want to save room in your stomach for desserts or other things after your dinner. That’s always a good idea because there is so much good food in Westminster! I love the quail egg that put in the hu tieu, and there is a good meat-to-noodle ratio. The noodles are perfectly cooked and the broth is tasty. A winning bowl all around. Pretty clean and spacious compared to other stores in the complex. Parking can be tight and hard to find, it’s a busy area.

Hu Tieu Thanh Xuan Overall 4.5 Stars Gold medal– Prices that won’t break your piggy bank Silver medal — Free ice tea and pickled garlic Bronze medal — Great food Prices that won’t break your piggy bank. The noodle prices here are $ 3.95, $ 4.95, $ 5.95 for the various sizes. No joke! $ 3.95 for a bowl of yummy noodles! This place gives you an option for your tea. You can get it hot or cold. If you get the ice tea and add the sugar that is already on the table, its like a free refreshing ice tea. The table had free pickled garlic. This is the only place that I’ve ever seen pickled garlic ever. If you love garlic, you have to try this! The hu tieu had a clean tasty soup. The soup came out very hot and the noodle were not over cooked or too soft. The baked egg with the rice place had a good peppery flavor. The shredded pork tasted very fresh and chewy, it was not soggy. The charboil pork was moist and tasty. HAPPYHUTIEUING!
