So delicious and great service! Food was delivered in about 30 minutes on a Saturday night, they threw in a free order of Peking ravioli, and gave us extra bread at no charge. I’m picky about Asian food and they were top notch. Will definitely order again!

I was really expecting better from this Quan’s Kitchen takeout only outpost, as I’ve frequently ordered from the larger Hanover location. What a letdown this was! The food really should have been better since it is Quan’s Kitchen, normally a solid selection. We ordered a mix of Japanese & Chinese — sushi and appetizers. The sushi chirashi selection was a nice enough mix of the ubiquitous salmon, tuna, whitefish, sliced thin but not too thin, on the long diag so it covered a fair amount of rice. The off-putting part was the furokake rice seasoning that was kind of splotched in the middle of the rice, starting to run into the rice and leaving most of the rice unseasoned. There wasn’t any ebi or any«crab» in the dish which are both fairly typical inclusions on a chirashi plate and for $ 20.95, I would expect a really good combination as this is priced on the higher end. Additional sushi of saba, hamachi and an oddly smoked salmon rounded out the Japanese side of the order, all again priced to the higher end at $ 5.25– $ 6.25 for two pieces of sushi each. Usually a small order of rice & small boneless spareribs is enough for two people to split, but the small order of boneless spareribs($ 6.25) is really small! less than a half pint and not a tightly packed one either. Definitely only enough for one person, and again, priced on the high end for the area. The half pint pork fried rice was the defining blow here, as the only pork in the dish was a half dozen cubes dropped on the top. Nothing in the dish — not one trace of pork at all, just soy sauced rice. Very unpleasant as it reminded me of the cheap Chinese lunch specials I used to get for lunch with co-workers years ago, where the«pork fried rice» on the plate has no real connection to anything pork-related! Maybe they were having an off night, but this is a miss for me; I’ll go to Quan’s in Hanover if I find myself in the area, but I won’t go back to this Weymouth location — too expensive and not the best quality.

We ordered several large trays for a party. Everything was fresh, well cooked, and delicious. The vegetable plate was crisp and cooked perfectly, not soggy or watery. The chicken fingers were crisp and the Lo mein and rice were really fresh. There was more than enough for fifty people and extremely affordable. Everything was ready for pickup and they even helped me load it all into the car. It was a great decision to order from Quan’s.

I ordered takeout tonight figuring the better chefs work on the weekend. The food was not so great. Chicken fingers were pale and doughy signaling they were undercooked. Even worse chicken wings were greasy and pink inside. Who wants undercooked chicken? Lo mein was wet with grease. I prefer to wait an extra 1015 minutes for fully cooked items. I’ll go back but not for awhile and not on a Saturday.

I really only want to downgrade to 2 ½ stars. Reason for the downgrade… after several orders over time, we have experienced shortages, and delays. We won’t change our minds about their food, it is very good. They bend over backward to correct mistakes, but the question is … can we continue to accept mistakes?

15 minutes for takeout at 630pm on a Friday so you have to give them bonuses for speed! Ordered Peking ravioli and pork lo mein which were both good. Neither are stars of their verse, the ravioli were good but the dipping sauce lacked any zing and fell rather one dimensional which was a let down. The lo mein was cooked well with fresh vegetables but once again lacked any spice package to kick it up to the next level. Not looking for spicy but just some food with more than light basic seasonings.

Awful! Ordered here in the past and food was good. Not anymore, terrible! Everything tastes exactly the same.

I had heard good things about this place and was craving some crab Rangoon after a long weekend. I have to say that it was, no lie, the WORST crab Rangoon ive ever had. I don’t order crab Rangoon to get some kind of a sea food kick. I want my Rangoon to be cheesy and delicious. This rangoon was crab city. I’m not a picky eater and I typically eat everything on my plate even if I don’t care for it, but I literally didn’t finish it. It was straight brown town. I don’t know what the other users are talking about when they say it was good crab rangoon. They’re cray cray. I gave it two stars because the spare ribs were ok.

Very disappointed. This place was hyped as «better than my home Chinese place». I came up visiting from NC and expected great things. I ordered chicken with mixed vegetables for take-out. It was soupy and the Cohen was chewy. It was very average and nothing to wrote home about. The staff was friendly when I picked up the order. I would only recommend this place I’d it was within walking distance.

Food is always hot and fresh, the best testing for around. Was just in there tonight when a phone customer told them their chicken fingers were cold. The kids out front have us a free sample to try since the cook was doubting himself, and of course there was nothing wrong with the food. I have been here one other time and the Hanover location a few times, nothing but great service. I hope the owner knows this is my go to place now for Chinese/Japanese food. Anyways, if you like sushi get the California roll, yummy. Thanks for your food.

Best beef teriyaki I have ever sunk tooth in to! We go here every year for xmas eve and get a ton of take-out. Everything was on point. Highlights were the quan’s steak, the Mongolian beef, the 4 happiness dish, the cashew chicken, and the beef teriyaki. Everyone was very happy. We got some sushi and shashimi to start which was also solid, fresh sushi. Their apps were pretty good for Chinese places — crab rangoon, chicken fingers, pork strips were pretty standard. I would definitely recommend my friends eat here if they’re looking for Chinese food.

We had just recently moved to the area and didn’t know where to get Chinese take out. I went with Quan’s since it had decent reviews and is close to my home. We picked up the food and did not realize it was the wrong order until we got home. My boyfriend called them immediately and brought the erroneous order back with us untouched. They were waiting for us with the correct order and gave us the other order as well. The food was delicious and we have plenty of left overs for lunch tomorrow ;). Although the order was initially was wrong they rectified the problem without an issue. We ended up with some items we don’t usually order but we enjoyed all of it and will be ordering from them again!

Used to be the go to place because quality wasn’t bad but overtime the big chunks of white meat for general tso/gaus chicken became more dough than chicken. Also the wings, outta 4 separate orders, were only cooked half of the time. Was loyal for 3 years but in recent months they have gone downwards. Sad to say

Really 3.5 stars. After 7 years of loyal patronage to Asia Palace(formerly Panda Palace), decided to try a new chinese place. Given the volume of Mai tai/old man bars that happen to serve chinese food in the area, i rolled the dice and picked one. Based on take out reviews on Unilocal,we landed at QK. Food review based on order of. pu pu platter for 2, house fried rice, and chicken rice soup. Pros: unique ingredients that spice up the standard appetizer fare(ex. mozzarella cheese in the crab rangoons). Not overly greasy. Very clean front of house, professional/friendly greeter upon pick up of food. Good value got quality, quantity, and convenience. Fried rice was fresh, both the brownish hue rice dropped in a wok full of oil that looks like it was made yesterday. Cons: take out window only — other quan locations have restaurant but this one doesn’t. No bar either. Always a plus to have a quick drink and game of keno while waiting for your food, but that’s just me. Menu items look exactly the same as every other chinese joint in New England(a general complaint of mine — would it kill a place to offer something new??!). Quick to get your food out, but not so quick that it makes you suspicious. Soup was bland, as expected. Usually broth from thai places are so much better — maybe the lemongrass and galangal? I would definitely go back to sample other menu items. Prices are consistent with other places in the area but the cleanliness sure make them stand out.

Boring, mushy general gao, 8 pieces of chicken, and about 4 pounds of rice in the box. Pretty decent Peking ravioli. The front of house is immaculate, I will say; cleanest takeout place I’ve ever seen. I was dismayed to see they had forgotten my crab rangoons, but rather than driving all the way back to get them, I just won’t bother going back.

Love this place! My boyfriend and I order regularly and we love the sesame chicken. The appetizers are good too. We always end up getting a free appetizer with our order. Would have been 5 stars but its a little pricey.

One word: HOT. In hopes of finding some good restaurants in the Landing area, we tried Quan’s. We ordered using the website menu and the layout could use some work in addition to the missing prices. Anyways, we ordered the hot and sour soup, kung pao vegetable, and orange chicken and the food was ready for pickup in about twenty minutes. The soup was MYGOD spicy. I coughed and choked my way through a small helping and threw in the towel. The vegetable dish was equally as spicy and the chicken had a weird aftertaste that I can’t really pinpoint. The«best dish»(I say that lightly) was probably the free green beans they included with the order, which was still raw. In all, I can’t say for sure if any of it was actually good as the spiciness was overpowering all of my taste buds. Yet for $ 30 bucks, I could’ve gotten a much better meal elsewhere or paid significantly less for the food I got from Quan’s.

Hands down — some of the most awful chinese I’ve ever had. Maybe I’d enjoy it after a few scorpion bowls!!! All entrees are coated by some kind of slime-y gel — the final flavor depends on what you ordered(general gao’s/kung pao, etc…) and then they call that a ‘sauce’. Chinese by Quan’s is the equivalent of Chef Boyardee being Italian.
