After filling out the appropriate loan papers to buy a sandwich… I had a 4.5″ chicken salad and a medium coke for over $ 9. I didn’t realize I was responsible for paying their month’s rent with my purchase.

So I included some pictures of this place of the menu picture and my actual sandwich and it definitely is not even close I could actually probably recommend Subway (i dislike Subway) before this place so I complained about the size the look everything about it and they did not offer any kind of reparation; my daughter cannot even enjoy her basic turkey and cheese sandwich: this place is run by teenagers (one with hickeys on her neck) and I recommend not even looking in this direction.

Superb sandwich! The hook and ladder, as many have mentioned, was delish. Blows away the other sub shops. The only negative thing was a haze of smoke hanging in the air. Not sure if some bread got burnt, or what happened. However, we will definately be back.

I’ve only eaten here once but I really enjoyed it. I went with my family and we all ordered a variety of different sandwiches and we were all quite pleased with the taste and quality.

Went to eat there December 5th @ 8:19pm. Great food as usual, and the service was good. But like every work place, there is always that one bad apple. My kids were in the car (with my wife) and I brought them both a grilled cheese kids meal. I never ordered a kids meal from there before. I thought that a kids meal would include a prize, so I asked the employees on the line if it did. Two of them replied politely, «no sorry we don’t». Then some young girl with short brown hair made the snide comment, «WE AREN’T MCDONALDS.» That was very rude and disrespectful. I told her that I was just asking. If my kids weren’t out in the car wanting their food, I would have had a few choice words for her. I guess I will just walk out the door and go to the Maize road Firehouse if I see that girl working behind the counter again!

Forever my favorite place for a sub. There is really no comparison. We come here all the time and have never had a bad experience.
My favorite sub is the hook and ladder. We have tried many and have never been disappointed.
Their staff is very friendly, I’ve met the manager myself and he is such a happy friendly guy.
We are so glad that firehouse came to Wichita! We will be back!

Food was great! But they have less options with what you can put on there subs then subway. So good place to improve is there service is to up their options to add to the sandwiches

Went for the first time in a year. Last time food was bad, and the service was the worst I have ever experienced. Apparently they got rid of all those people, the service was far better, even excellent. Got the smokehouse beef and cheddar, the meat was mediocre, but wasn’t too bad. Not near as good as Kansas city or Denver.

Yummy sandwiches! My fiancé and I took the cashier’s suggestion and ordered the Beef & Cheddar Brisket sandwich and the Hook & Ladder sandwich. Both were delicious. I really enjoyed all the different sauces that are available to use. My fiancé and I were having trouble using the soda machine but the staff at the restaurant were helpful in assisting us.

I’ve been to a few of these and this one was no different, I love their hot sandwiches and didn’t really get bad customer service like the other reviews suggested, maybe they weren’t assertive enough, it is a loud place.

When we first walked in we were greeted with a halfhearted «welcome to Firehouse» from one of the 5 or 6 employees behind the counter. She seemed a bit embarrassed to be the only one giving, what I assume to be, their required greeting. While trying to order our meal the girl at the register seemed more interested in joking around with her coworkers than listening to our order resulting in us having to repeat ourselves several times (very annoying). The sandwiches were what you would expect from Subway or any other low end sub shop and the bread was very bland and dry. Furthermore, my daughter’s order was incorrect, which was not surprising considering the employee was not paying attention when we ordered. Due to poor customer service and mediocre food we will definitely not be returning.
