My daughter was murdered here. Would not recommend. Although the pizza here is really good actually.

$ 70 for 4 personal pizzas, making it $ 17.50 per personal pizza average. We waited 50 minutes for our pizza. We drove an hour from Austin after receiving a recommendation for this pizza. I was hopping the pizza would be amazing after all of that but it was just mediocre, the crust is lacking. The view and deck is amazing but the service, pizza and speed of service needs a little improvement. I gave them a 3 for location and outside area. Also, I did not drink the beer or other food items so I did not want to discredit them for something I did not try.

Great Pizza and a wonderful family that works and plays together. It’s wonderful to hear the singing from the kitchen!

The Hefeweizen and pizza were awesome! The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed. My two little boys had fun in the play area. We will definitely be back!

Pizza was great. The place, though, is dirty. We got utensils that weren’t washed properly, flies were all over the restaurant from all the coming and going of the staff(I think the owner’s family). We won’t be going there unless the hygiene gets better.

Love this place. Awesome brews and great pizza. Views from deck awesome. My happy place. You can actually taste the ingredients in both beer and pizza.

Hands down the best pizza!!! You can tell all ingredients is fresh. Any time I have had a really bad day the only thing that will cheer me up is pizza and great beer from Brewsters.

Stopped by here this weekend to try out some pizza and craft beer — mixed reviews on Unilocal, but decided to give it a go. The place is not in Wimberley proper, meaning we passed it on RR12 and turned around in downtown Wimberley. We drove up and it’s a pretty impressive size, 2-story, and there is a huge stage out front. We walked in on the left side is seating and towards the back you walk up to order your pizza. The inside seating area is pretty plain, and could use a little TLC, but not bad. We wanted to try a craft beer each and we couldn’t order that at the food registers(I assume bc the kids are taking the orders and aren’t old enough) so we had to keep a tab open and walk to the other side of the restaurant to order beer. The owner served us up 2 pints after explaining to another group about his brews. We decided to sit outside on the patio, there were 3 occupied tables on the bottom level and several tables with trash and pizza plates that were needing to be bussed. We decided to try the upstairs patio but a little league team had taken over the majority so we went back down to an empty clean table. The stairs really needed some updating, really the whole restaurant could use a major deep clean and some elbow grease. Just seems like it has been a little neglected. I’ll be done with the cosmetics now :) We ordered a carnivore pizza to be shared between my boyfriend and I; it was really delicious! The crust/dough could have used a little seasoning but that’s my only complaint! We ordered a small pepperoni pizza for my daughter(she’s picky) and it was also really good. We got a Peggy’s Cream beer and it was perfect and also a blonde which was great — excellent beer, we really enjoyed(we prefer light and less bitter, personally which was exactly what we got!). Overall, great pizza and good beer. We will definitely be back if we come to the area again. Only recommendation for the family it to give it a little TLC and it could be 5 stars!

This is my second time here in the past few months. Good service. Yummy pizza from Brewster’s. Good cold draft beer. Staff were nice, friendly and efficient. This place is worth a stop!

Lackluster pizza and it took forever to get out to us. We ordered a salad as well and it too was lacking.

Really good pizza and a great selection of their own beers. I’ve always found a couple of their brews really hit the spot.

Totally cute and relaxing place to chill before getting back on the road. Pizza selections are fabulous… can be customized list of stand and premium(think blue cheese or chicken fajita meat) and have three choices of crust. I did see Glueten free if that’s your thing.

This place is worth the stop, or if you are my husband, worth a destination! The ales are good to excellent(depending on personal preference). The pizzas are good and the dough is excellent. But the personal attention that we received is the real reason that if we lived in the area, we would be regulars! Watching Bruce interact with the kids who wanted to see his Super Bowl ring was the real treat!

Beer was ok… not great just ok. Pizza was not good, at all. Very few toppings for the price– dough tasted old(my wife and I have both worked in the pizza business– we know old dough when we see and taste it), cheese was sparse even when ordering with extra cheese. Not good at all. Actually it tasted like a Dominoes pizza at about three times the price. The place is outdated, fans not working, trip hazards on the steps. The place is very very greasy/filmy. There is a thin layer of grease on everything we touched, including the menus, the table, the chairs, and even in the bathrooms. Won’t be going back — not worth the time or the very expensive ticket…$ 60 for a large pizza and 4 beers.

We love Brewster’s and having been coming here for a couple of years now. We rarely sit in the bar, because it can get pretty boisterous and echo-y, and I’m not a fan of noise. The dining room is much better for me, and the best is the porch when it’s not too hot. The beer is just fabulous, and Bruce serves it in veritable fishbowls filled to the brim. I feel like a Hobbit with his first pint when he hands me my goblet. By far my favorite beer is Drop the Rabbit, so called because there are no hops in it. Rabbit has a very full flavor without kicking you in the back of the throat. Second in line is Peggy’s Cream Ale, which is smooth and deep but not bitter. And I always, always love a Hefeweizen. I’ve tried almost all of their beers, but these are the ones I order on repeat. The pizza… oh the pizza. I personally have never had a bad one here. Even the time my vegan sister was visiting from New York and we ordered an Herbivore on a gluten-free crust with vegan Daiya cheese. That vegan pizza was really good! I eat vegetarian all the time, but gluten-free crust is difficult to do, and vegan cheese can be really gross in my opinion. This was good. Seriously! When it’s just myself and my daughter, we generally get two pizzas because we cannot remotely agree on what to order. For her: traditional thin crust with pepperoni. That’s it. She likes that they go light on the sauce. For myself, I get a whole-wheat crust Omnivore. After the pizza is baked they throw on fresh spinach that is very lightly dressed in some sort of vinaigrette. So. Good. Then with all that pizza, we take it home and enjoy for a couple of days! One thing many people are unaware of is that there is an entire upstairs area to the restaurant, available for parties, meetings, etc. I have attended many gatherings up there, from children’s and adult birthday parties, jewelry sales parties, meet-and-greets…we’ve even had two murder mystery nights up there. There are stairs or an elevator, so it’s wheelchair accessible. For my circle of friends, it’s our go-to place if we are planning a party type event. The Collie family are all extremely friendly and helpful. I don’t go in more than once every other month or so, but Holly greets me by name every time. Brewster’s beats the big chains hands-down in every way.

First off, I have no issue with the beer here. I had the Scottish Ale, Cream Ale, New Belgium, Hefeweizen and enjoyed them all. The bartenders filled all my beers to the very top which is something I judge a place for value. I thought the $ 18 growler fills were pricey compared to other breweries. The pizza was a huge disappointment. I expected way more with all the positive reviews this place got and paying $ 22 for a 16 inch pie. We got the margarita pizza, pictured, and it lacked all taste. The crust was so plain and the toppings lacking. I almost left the 3 left over slices but I can salvage them at home with butter, garlic and other seasonings. The service was very friendly, maybe I got a bad pie but I was disappointed.

It just didn’t do it for us. One college and one highschool aged kid were both disappointed. They are hard to disappoint. Wife and I didn’t like it. The bad was the crust/dough was extremely thin, hard, tasted like raw flour and broke off in chunks when taking bites. It had a very limited amount of meat. The cheese was hard and way over cooked. We had to tolerate the food. For the price it was not worth it.
