Jason is a friendly and skilled handyman. He has done several projects at my house over the past 2 years, including a new gate, replacing a large family room window, replacement of all switches and receptacles in the house, repair of kitchen track lighting, and a new bathroom floor, shower, faucets and light fixture. I had bought the faucets myself from Home Depot, and they were missing parts; Jason obtained the missing parts and reworked them at no extra charge. While he was replacing the bathroom fixtures, he noticed the huge bathroom mirror was not well secured to the wall. He fixed that too at no extra charge. Jason has a great attitude — if you hire him to start in the morning, expect to be greeted loudly with a big smile, ready to get started. Jason’s only fault that I’ve seen is over-optimism about how long things will take, but this only happens occasionally and is worth it for the quality and follow-through he has once he starts a project. While he can occasionally be difficult to schedule for a new job, and he sometimes reschedules jobs, he has finished what he started in a timely manner for all of my projects. If there is any aspect of the project I’m not happy with, he fixes/changes it promptly, even if it wasn’t his fault. Jason has always stuck by his estimates, even when the job was more involved and took more time than he estimated. I don’t know why several of Jason’s best reviews are grayed out here on Unilocal — I agree with all of them that are not automatically showing.

I have to agree with Denise M. Same thing happened with me. Jason came by as scheduled, I showed him everything, and he said he’d have the bid to me possibly as early as that evening, and would be able to start work as early as one week. Nothing came, several days went by and I sent him an email asking the status. He wrote to say it would be the next day, and then when the next day came, he said he landed a job that would take 3 – 4 months, and was no longer available. Probably not much more needs to be said here. This is a case where actions speak louder than words, and after reading such a similar experience posted already, I felt obligated to the next potential customer to list mine as well.

He came to my home and I showed him all the things I needed done. He never sent an estimate. I called once and left my email just in case there was a miscommunication, but never heard a word.

I have hired Jason to help me on a number of projects over the past few years. Whether the job was plumbing, electrical, concrete, drywall, I have always been impressed with his skill and knowledge, and especially his work ethic. I also find it comforting that, unlike many«handymen», Jason has earned his State Contractors License. Jason gets 5 stars from me!

Jason has been my handyman for the past 4 years and I cannot say enough good things about him and his work. There is nothing Jason can’t do from plumbing to painting to trimming a tree. Not only does he do excellent work he is very reliable and professional. Unlike so many others in this industry Jason actually returns calls, answers the phone gets a quote to you on time and always gets the job done in the time he agreed to get it done in. And he does all of this with a big smile on his face and with a great positive energy which is quite infectious! Jason has truly earned his State Contractors License and definitely gets two thumbs up from me.
