Such great customer service! I went in to take advantage of the car seat trade in. I had $ 140 left on a gift card, So I was excited to see what new kind of seat I could get for my little one. Well I found a cute Graco carseat, that with the discount from the trade in, was right in the price range for the gift card.
So here I am with my cousin, and my daughter, in the parking lot, trying to figure out how to put this thing in the car. reading the directions backwards and forwards. trying to find said latch system to strap this badboy in. then trying to strap it in just using the crossbelt. none of which were working. That second, i felt myself about to have an «office space fax machine» moment. Here comes a great sales guy walking by and asked if I need help. (insert superman music here). I explained I just didnt understand the directions and cant figure out this «latch system», so he eagerly offered to help. So with him going through page by page and diagram by diagram, he couldnt figure it out either. well we decided maybe turn to modern technology and look up online and such for a play by play on how to wrangle this thing into the car correctly. Well, come to find out that my trusty Honda was too old to have a latch system in it. So awesome handsome man tried to look to see if they had this «latch bar» so we can use my new carseat. well he comes back and there is no such luck.
At that time, the manager Ashley came out to see what was going on… we explained the scenario. She immediately picked up everything and lugged it back in the store and said «DONT worry, we WILL figure this out»
I go back into the store. I felt defeated. But Ashley sat there with me and went through seat by seat, color by color, read and did EVERYTHING for me. So we found one that was within my price range and she went of to get this great new seat from the back for me. WELL it was out of stock. and she immediately ordered it for me. one BIG problem. I still had my daughter with me. SO, Ashley walked me to the front, grabbed my old car seat and said «she can still fit in this one until the new one comes in». HUGE sigh of relief or I would have been walking home with my baby.
I wanted to hug her! It was the longest day for me and honestly I wasnt going to be able to afford another car seat on my new «single mom budget».
So just want to thank Ashley and handsome man for all their very hard help and Genuine caring they showed.

Alright, now visualize for a moment that you’re a first time expectant mom and you live in the city and need to get a feel for different car seat options and stroller options for your newborn. You’ve already seen the consumer reports, received advice from friends, and heard of a number of brands.
Let’s be honest, there is NO way you can make a real decision on this type of equipment unless you see the product. And although Toys R Us/​Babies R Us in this location and in general does NOT offer the best deals on the product, at least you can test out MANY of the pieces to better understand what you’re getting yourself into.
This store primarily carries Graco (wide but light) and Chicco (widest, lightest) infant car seats and stroller options. However, if you’re browsing Travel Systems (a car seat/​stroller combo), you will get a chance to see the Britax B-​Safe 35/​B-​Agile 3 (car seat is heaviest, but the most compact/​narrow) combination (not sold a la carte here). In addition, I noticed one ingenuity stroller, two City Strollers (which combine with all model car seats), some Toys R Us brand travel systems, and Baby Trend (multi-​compatible).
I would love to add to this review to give you my full opinion, but honestly, the staff that helped me and the husb provided the input necessary to help us make a decision. We literally struggled, prevailed, flipped, popped, expanded, and folded all-​terrain and umbrella-​style strollers, car seats, and travel systems for about 2 hours; a feat that I wouldn’t recommend for anyone beyond 28 weeks… It’s a tiring and frustrating, yet rewarding feeling if you can come away with a decision with peace of mind. If I can give a 0 star I will. I went to the store today wanting to do a price match with
. The sales and the manager looked up the item and saw the much lower price from
. Then they tried all kinds of excuse to say that was not price matchable. At first they said the lower price was not sold by a random person instead of
. After I pointed out it was listed as sold and shipped by Amazon they said it was an open box item, because the pictures didn’t show a box. It clearly said it was new but the manager insisted that «Amazon always showed the box if the item came with a box». I purchase a thousand new items from Amazon, when it says new it is new in box. Who cares about if the pictures show a box or not if it is new. If Toys r us can’t afford to match competitor’s lower price, don’t advertise it. What a waste of time.

We went here the other day to set up our baby registry and were pleasantly surprised with the great service we received from the ladies who work the registry. They were very welcoming, knowledgeable and a joy to work with. They checked up on us every once in a while to make sure we were on the right track and they helped us find stuff that we had a hard time locating. When we completed our registry they gave us their names and told us if we had any issues at all, we could call them and ask for them. The store was also very clean, well organized and they had a good selection.

Went yesterday for some last minute gifts. okay I should have known it would be awful a few days before Christmas. The insanely large amounts of people, messiness, and out-​of-​stock items were expected, but the staff attitudes were awful! Not helpful at all! More like teenagers or people in their early 20’s wanting to be anywhere else but there. Hey, a job is a job guys-​there are people who would be grateful to be working at Toys R’ Us!
The most annoying thing was once I got home, I realized I was overcharged as the girl at the register scanned in a couple of my items twice! She looked hung over, so I shouldn’t be too surprised. but I am definitely not happy about it! One other funny thing was a middle-​aged woman trying to light up a cigarette in the store. lol! That pretty much sums up the type of people that were shopping here yesterday. that and middle-​aged, overweight men in pajama pants and slippers. Gross.

I have always shopped at this location, being this conveniently located for me. They always seem to have a good collection of items for kids. The shelves are usually well stocked and well kept. My biggest complaint is whenever I need help, I just can’t seem to find anyone working at the store to help me. I have to walk, sometimes all the way across the store to find someone to help me. I just wish they were more accessible to their customers.

I had one of the worst shopping experiences in several years at the Woburn Babies/​Toys R Us location. I stopped into the store to make a purchase of a baby registry item.
I printed the registry from the self serve kiosk & went to find the items I had selected from the included map & listed aisles. What a surprise to find the two Items I had chosen in completely different locations than indicated on the registry. Thankfully I had friend helping me search, or I might still be there.
There were 2 registers open & I chose the line with 2 «guests» in front of me. After 25 excruciating minutes it was my turn. I had witnessed long winded up-​selling speeches, the cashier frantically trying to get the customer service desk associate to approve a personal check, a sale rung up and, then completely voided & re-​rung because the customer used a coupon.
Finally with my transaction almost complete the Service Desk employee offered to help the next person in line. After I finished paying I stopped to ask Linda, at the service desk what the turning point was for her to offer to help out the cashiers. She snidely asked me if I hadn’t seen she was busy. I told her no, since she had been available to walk back & forth behind the registers & clean up items at the service desk while 10 people waited over 20 minutes in line.. She was with out a doubt one of the rudest «customer service» people I have ever encountered. She encouraged me to mention her name on the satisfaction survey I was given. So I did & would also like future «guests» (A term I despise for paying customers) to be forewarned that if you are looking for a pleasant shopping experience do not seek out Linda for help at the Woburn Babies R Us store.
I mentioned my dis-​satisfaction to the on duty manager, Ed — but from the blank look on his face I feel assured that no action will be taken to monitor the long lines or the rude employees in the future.
I can only encourage other expecting Moms not to register at Babies R Us & save their friends & Families the aggravation of shopping there.

We recently tried purchasing a crib and dresser here. This required two trips to the store: one trip to place the order and pay and a second trip to schedule delivery and furniture assembly. Two trips for one order seemed strange, but we went with it. Both trips took way longer than necessary, the store seems understaffed, and the customers there were rude and interrupt the staff while they are helping people, thus making transactions longer than necessary. The staff also seemed a little crabby from being understaffed, which is understandable.
The delivery was a complete and total disaster. The delivery people came almost an hour and a half after the delivery window (3:30 pm instead of between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm). The dresser, that I paid for assembly on, did not fit up the stairs because it was actually pre-​assembled. Then the delivery people were impatient and rude while I tried calling the store to see if the wrong items had been sent. Apparently it is okay for them to inconvenience a customer by being absurdly late, but it is not okay for them to wait ten minutes for me to find out if the wrong items are being delivered.
Needless to say the furniture left with them and was returned to Babies R Us. We are taking our business to a more competent company and will happily never return here again.

I went here for the first time last Christmas, I never even knew it was there… So now I have made it my regular spot… Its always clean, never been really that packed when I go & it always seems to have things in stock.
Not like other Toys’ that usually have nothing left on the shelves…
Will continue to be my go-​to when I have the time to go… I actually went last night & did all my Christmas shopping, I know you can judge me its Oct, but you know what… I got good deals!

I don’t really come here by choice — I come because I just had a baby and well, it just seems unavoidable! Even though this is not one of the larger stores, I think it’s huge. It’s overwhelming, but they do always seem to have what you need. I try to stick to what I need in order to get out of here without spending a fortune! They have a good return policy, offer merchandise credit for registry returns, and you get 20% coupons at check out. They will send you endless emails and mailings if you don’t unsubscribe — even though I dislike them too, I have gotten decent diaper sales!

Toys’R’Us is Toys’R’Us. Like any other stupid franchise (Starbucks, Mcdonalds, etc), they’re all the same despite every outlet having it’s own weird problems.
Somehow, they manage to be on the larger scale of store yet not have that great a selection of anything. If I had kids I’m sure I’d be able to find them something –they– wanted though, and unless you’re an overgrown, extremely picky girl-​child like me you’ll probably find something for your kid too.
Last time I was here I came in already knowing what I wanted to get, so I only planned on spending 10 minutes at most in the store. I was with two of my guy friends who are also into toy collecting, but we were late for something so they told me to hurry and weren’t buying anything that day. One of the male employees stacking the shelves overhead this and made a comment that was basically to the effect of «Oh, silly women and their time-​wasting ways on such frivolous girl-​toys!». So. Uh, I didn’t know what to say to that, so I just smiled and nodded and we all got the fuck out.
On a better note, the checkout staff are usually very friendly. And it’s cool that there’s a TRU in Woburn… but yeah, while I do buy here from time to time, they really don’t warrant more than an «okay». I feel like I’m being very generous giving them 3 stars to be honest.
Oh, and on a final note? The parking lot around the store is more like a deathtrap of used shopping carts. Apparently people with babies don’t give a shit and will leave like 20 shopping carts randomly strewn across the lot and in ACTUAL PARKING SPACES so you cannot park. It’s so fucked up, it’s basically a game! Hurrah!

i’m giving 4 stars for the store… because… well… it’s approaching the christmas season and like any store… it’s chaos. it didn’t look bad, nothing all over the place, but just the christmas craze.
and a 4.5÷5 to the woman who helped me when i couldn’t bear to be around the craze anymore. mary was her name and she was super. loved her. i think she may be a manager there because people seemed to be checking in with her quite often when she was helping me. calmly she looked in the system to see what was in stock and luckily one of my items was! yahoo! walkie talkie to the people in the back and had them bring it up. and for the item that was not in stock she assisted in ordering for me. she didn’t have someone else assist me, it was her. super nice and helpful and was able to answer other customers questions without seeming that she was ignoring me. she rang everything in for me and had one of the guys there help bring it to my car.
i’d easily give this place 3 stars, but mary seriously rocked it. very helpful and calm. which is MUCH needed — esp around christmas time and ESP in a toy store.

I didn’t used to like this place. I mean, for a toy store, you’d have a pretty hard time finding anything GOOD.
But — I went Christmas shopping here yesterday and had great success.
If your kid likes any toy shown on TV, you’ll find it here. This is a «commercial» toy store, as I call it. Lots of Bakugan and Barbie and Elmo stuff. Be sure to check the papers for coupons for this place! If you’re looking for a generic gift — like something that isn’t a specific character or something — you won’t really find it here. This is more of a place to buy that thing your kids sees on TV and flips out about. It’s organized well-​enough. You’ll find that Baku-​whatever here that your nephew is nagging you about.

This Toys R Us is pretty big, but has a ton of baby crap! Yay! No more truckin’ it out to BFE to get diapers in bulk, discounts on formula, and jingly sparkle toys for my crib midget.

Dismal selection, but there really isn’t any other toy store in the area! I think Toys R Us in general sucks, but kids are still falling for it — what do they care, toys are toys. This place carries some baby stuff — supplies, beds, strollers, but seriously, I am always disappointed when I come in and have to suck it up just because there’s no place else.
