Growing up in Worcester, you tend to get spoiled by such a rich culture of arts, within our historic crafty city. So it was by chance, I stumbled upon a city of gold. Hidden in a business that caters to any starving artist willing to express themselves. After having one of my beloved posters sitting in storage for years, I decided to have it finally framed. The employees were so accommodating by offering superb assistance, when it came to choosing frame colors. Which really helped outline a truly customized masterpiece. They take their time helping you decide, how to specialize your order, with a complimentary financial system that will easily fit into your budget! What more could you ask for? So far I had two posters framed, much to my delight. I will definitely be doing business with your wonderful staff again… Satisfaction guaranteed!

This place is simply awesome. They have good quality supplies for everyone ranging from the budding preschooler artist in your life, to the professional who needs to stock up. I always expect to see higher prices due to the typical clientele of the shop, but I am surprised each time by how reasonably priced all of their products are. The sales staff has always been helpful and friendly each time I have visited as well.

This place was recommended by several of my professors, and it’s within walking distance of the school I went to. It looks tiny from the outside, but it’s huge on the inside! They had everything I was looking for. Unfortunately, I had to search to find a few things and staff was busy with other customers, but I eventually found what I needed. When I did finally interact with staff, they were very friendly and helpful. Even the other customers were friendly. I ended up having a conversation with one of them. Prices here are average and they sell a range of quality of items. I was very pleased with the selection.

Bill and Kristen run a great store– incredibly helpful and they are always bringing in new products to try– hosting events to keep things fresh, offering demos of new products and anything else you can think of to make them a valued member of the community.
Forget Michaels or AC Moore and give your biz to them.

Wonderful art supply/​frame store! Operating since 1852, this place bills itself as «America’s Oldest Art Supply Store.» But from its fun neon sign outside and its modern and well-​stocked interior, I would never have guessed that factoid! It’s about as big as a Bob Slate in Cambridge — so not huge. But they have a comprehensive and wide-​ranging stock of paper arts, drawing, and painting supplies (and of course tons of frames, etc.), with lots of unique items (you’d have to go to see what I’m talking about). They also seem to always have a great sale going. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Call ahead about particular items and if they don’t have it, they’ll order it.
