If you like Karaōke, then I guess Café Neo is for you! Apparently they do fancy mixed drinks, which looked pretty, but I drank beer. The best part is the people watching I think, very mixed crowd where everyone happily belted out their favorites songs. Not a place I would frequent, but on a rainy Saturday night it was entertaining!

Fun place for karaōke. A nice dive bar if you want to get away from the typical college bars. Great mojitos!

I am a frequent karaōke fan. Love to find cool small dive bars that do karaōke. As soon as I tried to order a drink, the older bartender completely ignored me. The best part, there were only maybe four people in the bar. He was rude and not welcoming. Yes they have great drinks, but the place is a dump. Good for college kids who come in already drunk.

This is definitely Worcester’s hidden gem! It’s an awesome place — Panagio the owner is amazing. Apart from making the best cocktails(I’ve never had a better mojito in all of Worcester), he’s also a superb cook! If you’re in on the right days, he often offers free buffet! Also if you host a birthday party there and bring more than 12 ppl, he will include the free buffet. How freaking awesome. Drink prices are also very reasonable. My friends and I are so happy to have found this place. Karaōke + great cocktails = WIN. Totally recommended.

Café Neo is a great city bar & café. They have Karaōke 7 nights a week, from 9 pm till 1:45 am, with some of the BEST DJs in Central Massachusetts. The crowd changes depending on the night, but it’s always a great & fun bunch of people. School teachers, actors, firefighters, military members, veterans, nurses, medical staff, restaurant workers, mechanics, car salesmen, an ER Doctor, & many other professionals go to Neo, many after work. It’s a great place to meet new people, laugh, & sing. I read a prior review here & it seemed like the woman already had an attitude before she went there. I walk in & see really good people who work hard & just like to feel appreciated. I walk around & say«Hi» to everyone ‚& know almost everyone who goes there. I’ve seen the owner«Pete» deny service to people who he knows are trouble, & Marcos the Security Guard checks every ID. All it takes at Neo, is to walk in, be friendly, smile & the others there will introduce themselves to you. Soon you’ll be singing with the rest of us, & know that you’re appreciated !! Pete puts on a free buffet for people’s birthdays, & he serves free food on holidays for people with nowhere to go. It’s a city café with lots of class !(:

I absolutely adore Café Neo! Peter, the owner, runs the place himself, he is a constant presence and himself along with the bouncer/bartender makes the place feel safer because he doesn’t take any drunken antics or BS. I have personally seen him throw trouble makers out. Karaōke is always so much fun and Wednesday night trivia is a blast. Café Neo is a relaxed little hole-in-the-wall bar that is friendly and a great hang out. I’ll always frequent this place.

Updating my previous review because Neo has since updated their menu. They now serve a full breakfast menu all day and an extended selection of other food items. They also got themselves a coffee maker– woohoo! Come with a big appetite, walk away full. Oh, and about the neighborhood, the city has been putting lots of work into that part of town and the sketch-factor has decreased since my initial review 6 months ago. There is a municipal parking lot just past Café Neo, but make sure you throw some change in the meters– even at night. As far as I’m concerned, meters should be free at night, but the city officials and meter maids disagree. Not Neo’s fault, but nobody likes to walk away from a meal and find a parking ticket on their windshield!

This is Worcester’s ONLY7 day a week karaōke bar. Thursday night’s with DJ Matty J are always packed, and full with fun, energetic, fun people. The crowd is very welcoming and makes newcomers feel like old friends. The food is amazing, great Greek food /bar cuisine, and the drinks are cheap($ 2 drafts). The only suspect thing about this place is the neighborhood… not the best part of Worcester, and it doesn’t exactly bring in the best walk up clientel.
