We tried few items and they were all very good. The phở and the Mongolian rice were the highlight of our dinner. Will be frequenting this place often

Decent food, but instead of being creative they tried there hardest to make it taste like the equivalent meat dish. Thai iced tea I had to ask for sugar to get it to taste good. They could of done so much more w wonton instead of trying to match meat equivalent. They also asked me if I ate meat and then put on this propaganda video after I answered them. Kind of douschey move. I’ve eaten at way better vegan spots. Entrée was pretty good.

I didnt enjoy my lunch here! Their food taste was good, but very oily!!! Prices do not match the quantity or quality of food. When i pay so much I expect them to use fresh vegetables. Being a vegan or vegetarian restaurant, i expected to see lot more greens in my food. Overall experience was not good. Will not be back.

The food is very good and I love any restaurant that’s vegan. There are so few. I would come here more often if I could. I see some reviews stating it was a «cult-like» environment, it’s a vegan restaurant run by vegans who care about veganism. If you are offended by veganism, don’t come. If you are open minded and not vegan, give this place a try, the food is great. The prices are great!

Honestly, I really enjoyed the food. I wish we had one of these in Boston. However, the server started to harass me over not being a vegan.(I’m vegetarian.) I’ve eaten in vegan and vegetarian restaurants for years. My partner is vegan. I’m very respectful of vegans, so I really don’t need to be harassed about not being one. That said, outside of the lecture and the cult-vibe of the place, it’s good food. I especially liked the rangoons and the veggie jerky they have for sale there right next to the Supreme Master’s books and DVDs.

The smallest portions we have ever received in a restaurant. Food was good but such tiny potions that we were shocked. When you order summer rolls or fresh rolls, you’re supposed to receive two rolls. You get ONEROLLCUTINHALF. Beware that they charge you two dollars for brown rice. Ridiculous. We are still hungry after ordering and paying for what should have been a good meal. Will never return. Never!!!

It’s amazing that a tiny-teny small restaurant serves so good food. Love the cheerful noodle and recommended fried rice. The coconut milk shake is also amazing. It’s a pearl in sand compared to the neighborhood. Will definitely come again.

The food was cheap and good. I would eat there again. The only downside was that after our meal, we were lectured for not being vegan. I’m mostly vegetarian, but he seemed to REALLY want me to be a very strict vegetarian or vegan. He was encouraging, but it still made us uncomfortable. It was a bit heavy handed…

We ordered noodles, wonton soups, rice, rolls, appetizers, and smoothies. We have total 9 people from age 4 to 70. Everyone was very happy with the meals. Some even ordered 2nd time of the dishes they like. Very creative way to make vegan dishes. Yummy!

First time that I tried a vegan place that serves Asian food, so all my orders were pretty much experimental. But I liked more than half the stuff so a good ROI!

One of my favorite places to eat(vegetarian and otherwise) in the area. We’ve been several times to this location and the other one for their buffet. This time around, on a cold rainy day, I ordered a summer roll and the spicy bun-hue. I cannot say enough good things about that noodle soup. Perfect spice(thanks to homemade chili sauce) the fried tofu and brown soy bits are perfectly cooked and the broth rivals some of the best beef phở I’ve had. Man that soup is good… My boyfriend got the veggie burger which was yummy and served with perfectly crisp shoe string fries. The burger was dressed with tomato, pickles, catsup and mustard.

Loving Hut on Hamilton St is my go-to for take-out Asian food. I’ve been coming here fairly regularly for three or four years now. I haven’t found a dish I don’t like, but my favorites are the Spicy Bun Hue soup, the Spicy Cha Cha, and every appetizer on the menu.

Nice presentation, skilled cooks, and friendly staff overall. Also a quiet, clean atmosphere. They cooked the vegetables properly — so that they still had color and texture — and the fake meat actually had some flavor to it. I got the yellow curry and it was satisfying. They also make very flavorful dipping sauces with delicious fruit instead of sugar. I don’t think there was any sugar in the food at all. I was a vegetarian for over a decade and was a vegetarian cook and teacher for several years. This is the kind of place I am happy to find because you can at least get a decent meal there. Too much soy, though, and it’s mostly white starch. The buffet wasn’t great. It looks like a religious sect owns the place but maybe it’s interesting that there are reading materials and videos to check out. The sugar-free approach alone is worth checking out.

Loving Hut is a chain of Vietnamese vegan restaurants owned by the cult lead by Supreme Master Ching Hai, a 65 year old Vietnamese woman. I’ve had the good fortune of dining at several Loving Hut restaurants all over the country. Sadly, this one in Worcester does not live up to the others. The fake meats are all delightful, though. I am especially a fan of the little hunks of fake beef with sesame noodles on them and the fake chicken wing. Both have a nice taste and texture, and were included on the appetizer sampler. I ordered Kung Pao fake meat, and she ordered fried rice of some kind. The fried rice was acceptable and tasted of cinnamon and other aromatic spaces. The Kung Pao wasn’t too sweet, but it wasn’t too spicy either. Overall it lacked flavor and didn’t scratch my itch for Kung Pao. The best thing we ate was the tangy, creamy, nicely lemon-y cheesecake. Order that for sure. The ambiance at this location leaves something to be desired. There are only four tables and white painted stone walls. There’s little decoration except for a TV looping a cult video celebrating the Supreme Master’s achievements. To give you a sense of how lame this cult is, here’s the origin story: it became known that the Supreme Master Ching Hai had special powers when she went to a store to buy a copy of the Bhagavad Gita for study. The shop owner insisted that the shop was out of stock, but the Supreme Master demanded that he look more carefully, insisting that she’d spotted a copy. Lo, he looked through a box and found a copy at the bottom, confirming the Supreme Master’s supremacy as having an especially well-developed«third eye.» As cults go, this one is harmless. Their biggest scandal involves the illegal placement of a barge on US federal land, something that Haliburton would laugh at for lack of ambition. So for sure go ahead and check it out, especially if you’re vegan or vegetarian. It is dirt cheap, but I’d recommend take out, since the dining experience has nothing to recommend it. While you eat at home, check out their video on youtube for the full experience.

Three things: 1. I love meat. A lot. 2. I am Vietnamese. 3. THISVEGETARIANBUN«BO» HUEISAMAZING. The bun bo hue had interesting flavor, depth, great fresh veggie toppings for texture, and just overall amazing take on a Vietnamese classic. I didn’t miss the meat at all. This place makes me almost think that I could be vegan or vegetarian. That’s how good it is. Some of the appetizers were really phenomenal and interesting. I really loved the wonton(tasty savory filling) appetizer the most, and mock chicken«nugget»(it was kind of flat to be a nugget, and a touch dry) as a second. Would eat here again and again cause I’m lovin’ it.

Decent food, but not a great experience. After having attended a wedding with almost nothing(vegan) that I could eat, I was starving by the time I got to Worcester. I looked up local restaurants and accidentally showed up at the Chandler St. location, which was closed. Luckily I still had 25 minutes before the cross town location was closing, so I gave them a ring for takeout. Their menu looked creative and had many different options. Understanding that it was close to closing time, I asked them if it was too late for takeout. They hesitated at first and asked how big my order was. I said it was just two items, so luckily they were able to grant me some late-night eats. The cashier was friendly enough and pointed to my bag on a nearby table. As soon as I got into the car, I realized that something was leaking. The underside of the bag was wet from sauce and the container inside was leaking too… After cleaning up, I first tried the drumsticks. They were good, albeit fairly greasy. The main entrée was the Mongolian Wonder. It just looked paltry and lifeless. There was literally more rice than the mock meat/veggies. As for the soy protein, it was okay. The spices were good, but the pieces were thin and the dinner portion was small. Overall, the prices were reasonable, but the portions were accordingly small. Service was OK, but my takeout bag was a sloppy, leaking mess. I felt like they were in a hurry to close when talked to them on the phone, but then in person they were polite. The food was decent, but didn’t blow me away. I’d be willing to come back to dine-in. Maybe I just hit them at a bad time, within a half hour of closing on a Sunday night.

Came for lunch with my co workers. I ordered their phở. The broth was very flavorful. My co workers ordered the fried rice and they enjoyed their dishes. The service was slow. We had to also ask for water twice.

I Love this place. They have great vegan food here. Lots of mock foods if you are with a meat eater etc they won’t be disappointed :-) It is a family run place here and you won’t believe how friendly they are. The owner that runs the place almost always stops by your table to make sure everything is ok and chat a bit. They have great buffets too. Great deal and a great chance to sample their different foods. Can’t go wrong !

Hi, let me start of by stating I’m not a vegan and never will be ;) that being said… this place was really tasty. The texture of the fried«chicken» was a little strange and I still don’t exactly know what I ate but the flavor was great. I will be back in the future to sample other things on the menu. I loved and would recommend the spicy tofu and eggplant dish with ginger and lemongrass. Dynamite. Nuff said.
