Subway

This place doesn’t have very good customer service. The food is ok, but not the best I have had. I prefer the Webster location on Main Street. It is a ways from my house though so I wish the one closer would have better service. I don’t understand why there is such a big difference in food quality and service at different locations. The Subway at Walmart in Oxford is another good one. I usually grab some food from the Oxford Walmart when I go shopping there.

For no particular reason, it’s been about ten years since I fave visited this particular location. After today’s lunch time experience, it may very well be another ten years before I cross the threshold again.
I witnessed a few patrons walk out, subs in hand, as I made my way to the front door and took that as a good sign. Things went downhill fast as soon as I entered. I scan the extremely clean dining area and make my way straight to the counter as there is no one else inside. There is a male/​female duo behind the counter completely ignoring me as they appear to be arguing with each other, I say appear, because I couldn’t understand what they were saying. Finally, the male half takes my order. It was so painful. He made me repeat myself every step of the way. Dude, getting a sandwich made should not be this difficult. Needless to say, a line had formed during this process and the female half is jobber jabbering on the phone and ignoring the hungry crowd. I couldn’t get out of here fast enough.
What saves this visit is the fact that I tried the Smokehouse BBQ Chicken sandwich for the first time. Subway should not have a sandwich that tastes this good.
While I will be enjoying a Subway sandwich again in the future because they are convenient, it will not be here.

Stopped by this afternoon to grab a quick sandwich. This store is in the Fair Shopping Plaza at the intersection of Rte 20 and Greenwood St. (More on the Route 20 side). Place was clean, busy, and service was good. Sandwich was fresh and tasty. Interior looked up to date and well lit. Seats available inside.
