Walgreens

I’ve been here twice, and both times there were beggars working the parking lot asking everybody for money as they came out. Definitely something that needs to be addressed

Be careful of their 24 hour pharmacy claim. I had a surgery that ran late and needed post-​operative medications around 10:30pm. The pharmacist was unaccommodating and rather rude, saying she was too busy to fill the medications until the morning even though I needed a dose at 11pm.

If the Devil himself was sick late at night, he’d do well to avoid this place. None of the exterior lighting was working, not the marque, not the lot lights. Now that the officer from WPD rolled out, I wish I was strapped just to get back to the car.
And if Lucifer was here, he’d be dismayed at the one hour photo that requires more than three hours to complete. Or perhaps he’d be grinning a knowing snarl at the optimistic lies about his ordering being only moments away from completion. Except that it’s not. Lying to make the Devil feel better or simply an omission is still a sin. And one can hope the Devil gets his due.
And now we learn that the photo desk has no cash drawer. I need to stand in line with the mortals in the great huge never ending purgatory of a line.
The underworld awaits those that allows a store to operate like this.

This walgreens is not great but it’s not awful either, just average. It’s small and for some reason, always crowded at night. I only come here when I really need to get something, but otherwise don’t make a habit of it. They claim to refill ink cartridges but every time I go, it never works. … go figure.

I ended up here because it was within walking distance of Becker and I needed a prescription filled. It’s not in a great area, but it was the most convenient. Weird selection of items in store, including «Grope» brand socks (WTF?) but the pharmacy was fine. Nothing special… I got my prescription and got out of there. Nothing awful about this location, but nothing special either.

Good 24 hour Walgreens, it’s what you expect except that it is located in a rough part of the neighborhood. Staff is usually nice and they tend to have a good variety and supply of items.

Today I was reminded why I’m not a big fan of Walgreens.
The store was dirty, the shelves were not full of merchandise, and sale items were not clearly marked.
Not sure where she was rushing to, but the cashier disappeared before I had walked away from the counter.
