Best barber in the Ann Arbor /​Ypsilanti area. Hands down. I have been to a few in Ann Arbor and several back home, in Montréal (Canada), and I’ve never had a better haircut than any of the ones Tommy (the owner) has given me. Gotta check this shop out!

Update: I’ve had my hair cut from Real Barber Shop 3 times now, and have always been pleased with the results. I’ve had it cut with multiple barbers, and they were all really good. All of the barbers are very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. If you have any questions about how to style your new haircut, they have great recommendations. 5 star review remains.

Been going to the «chain» salons and recently a more upscale ($$$) one in Ann Arbor. Been wanting to try this place for a while decided to go today. I wasn’t disappointed. The haircut was on par or better than the more expensive shops. I’ll definitely be going back!

Great hair salon. Guys here seem to be passionate about their work. At my first visit, Giovanni gave me a nice hair cut, he totally knew what he is doing. Best thing price is well in range and also it’s at a walking distance from my apartment.
Sure will be back!

I completely agree with the other reviews commending everybody’s attention to detail. In fact, they are always able to provide me with a well-​done, stylish haircut even if I only have a vague idea about what I want, and that is what makes this place spectacular!
There can sometimes be a fairly long wait time, but the HBO GO helps pass the time (and I also really like their taste in background music).

Unreal. Everyone here does an amazing job. I’ve been to a lot of other places in AA and this is by far the best. The prices are fair and they are meticulous about cutting your hair right. I won’t go any place else.

Great place! I walked in today without an appointment, and sat down with Olga for the first time. I have curly hair, a tattoo on my scalp, mutton chops (for now), and a flare for the dramatic, which has left me with a lot of rough cuts in the past. Olga ran with it all, and gave me a great cut which followed what I wanted, a professional and efficient razor shave, and shaped my chops, moustache, and eyebrows. And all this for $ 24. Pro service, good work, I will come back.

Finally! Finally found a good barbershop to take my boys too. Both boys (ages 8 and 6) came out with clean even crew cuts, perfect lines, service was friendly and fast, the price is beyond great at $ 13 for cash. I will never take them anywhere else.

This is the best barber in the area, im absolutely glad i discovered this place because it’s kinda hidden in small plaza off Washtenaw ave .
I had a fresh hair cut just like the way i wanted and lined up my beard.
Very reasonable price, clean place, and most importantly they respect their costumers.
Both Tommy and Welda are awesome !

This is a barber shop run by Tony. He is the only worker there, but he is great and quick. The shop is actually located at the the back of Olé latino services. I have been going to him for over a year now.
