The Sandwich Spot

I was going for pizza at Mountain Mike’s but thought I’d do a little local Unilocaling first. I found this place across the parking lot and the reviews were pretty good so I thought I’d give it a try. I was very happy with this place. My sandwich was so so good! The service was fantastic. the girl making my sandwich even asked me if it was ok to add extra bacon to my sand because I opted for no avocado. Free bacon? Um yes please and thank you! Btw I had the Marsha Marsha on a sweet roll. Delish! My only reason for knocking off a star was the iced tea. It tasted… off. It is most likely pre-​packaged. You know that stuff that comes in a bag and the just stuff the bag into the dispenser? Yeah. I would recommend fresh tea and this place would be 5 stars all the way.

I have always been a HUGE Sandwich spot fan, until recently. My last two visits were not fantastic. The service was terrible, my sandwiches were not made well, and I have even recieved a sandwich with super soggy bread. This place was by far the best in town, and now its only sub par. Perhaps better training to staff would make all the difference.

Finally found a sandwich spot that I am willing to come back to. Love that you can order online or call in for a pickup.

Fresh bread, fresh produce, sliced meats, and everything made to order. If yo haven’t been here yet get you rear in gear and get over to the sandwich shop.

Best sand which in yuba city. The place is clean and the employees are friendly. I definitely recommend trying the Dutch crunch bread. Can’t go wrong with that!

Awesome sandwiches. Everything is fresh and the portions are more than generous. The service is also excellent. This place has customer service that is hard to find.

Called to place a order and they were just closing and they told me it was no problem and took my order and when I showed up to pick up my order they were very nice and my order had just finished being made. The sandwiches with Dutch crunch bread were delicious especially the Marsha Marsha with the bomb sauce. Delicious sandwiches and great service made us fans for sure and we will definitely be back sooner than later. Try the bomb sauce as it lives up to its name with full flavor

Have heard great things about this place and finally had time to try it out. My sandwich is AMAZING! Great customer service, my order was ready quickly, the «Godfathers Great Italian» is delicious. I will be back!!!

Sandwich was tasty. Service is crappy even by Yuba city standards. I usually go on weekends… I was the only one in the place, 3 employees working and they took forever on my sandwich. Then failed to give me any napkins and when I got up to go get napkins, I had to wait for them to finish their conversation before I was helped. It would also be nice if they offered a smaller sandwich or half sandwich since the rest of my clan won’t eat here since they can’t finish the huge sandwiches they make. The employee could use some training and maybe supervision.

If I were rating the food only, this place would get 5 stars. My sandwich was amazing.
My only gripe was that none of the staff washed their hands. Even the lady that worked the register and handled the money went back to make sandwiches and I did not see her wash her hands. They gentleman was constantly pulling up his pants and touching his face while preparing the food.
Until the hygiene standards are raised, I probably will not return or recommend this restaurant.

I actually found out about it on Unilocal through my friend Len :) good thing he posted a picture because I am a visual person and that is why I enjoy Unilocaling so much, is mainly because of the pictures!!! I like reading reviews and tips too, but pictures are cool to see ;)
First off, I knew I wanted Dutch Crunch bread, and my sister looooves that bread… We came in together for lunch and both our first visit. Easy to find near Sushi Ichiban and JanYo, there is decent parking in the lot! The place is very nice inside, it has a lot of open space, very clean, friendly staff working, and they have an excellent menu of choices!!! It took me awhile to decide, but I went with the Heat is On and my sis picked Hot Pastrami. Combos come with chips and a drink, even though we don’t drink sodas, we ended up with iced teas. Our sandwiches were delicious, I loved mine and it was perfect for lunch, it is a great size and quality, you definitely get your money’s worth. My sis gave me good feedback too, and we want to return to try more sandwiches. We also got a stamp card and grabbed a To Go menu! I am sure I will take advantage of ordering To Go in future. I want to say this is the best sandwich shop I have ever been to, my lunch was that GREAT :) The best part is you know you are eating fresh ingredients, great quality, and HEALTHY choices there! Be back soon!!! I am even considering ordering a platter for one of our family events, I think that would be nice on Super Bowl Sunday or a picnic at the park… comes in handy when you don’t feel like cooking or don’t enjoy cooking lol.

Really good sandwich great quality ingredients. My only complaint is the cost pretty spend for lunch. But as I stated earlier it’s always fresh and quality.

DO NOT COME HERE FOR LUNCH WAITED HALF HOUR AND THERE WAS ONE PERSON AHEAD OF ME! And when I asked about my sandwich (an older blonde lady) she gave me a stank ass attitude that there was one three people working. That’s not my problem!!! Get it together with the customer service! As for the sandwich I got number 26 it was good but Ive had better and its not good enough to come back after the lady’s lack of social skills… I really hate giving negative reviews but the way you’re treated is really important and I wont be coming back.

both on Dutch Crunch (which is SO good)
and I haven’t been able to try anything else because they are soooooo yummy!
Also their «Bomb Sauce» is just as advertised, delicious! Great sandwiches, lots of choices and friendly, excellent customer service! Be warned they can get pretty busy and paying for your sandwich can take a while though I hope they will remedy that soon as its a new place ;)
