JanYo Frozen Yogurt

Love this place! It’s always so good! It’s clean, inviting, and the staff is very friendly! Even when they are very busy they are always nice.

The best customer service you will ever get. The staff is super friendly without being artificial or scripted. They are obviously very well trained.
The toppings are fresh and the containers are spotless. It makes you want to really load up.
There was a good selection of flavors with something for everyone. On the downside the chocolate flavors are bland and have almost no chocolate flavor which is pretty much the same for all yogurt shops except for Menchies. Ditto for the hot fudge. It was hot but the fudge flavor was pretty much MIA. How is it that nobody can make a decent chocolate yogurt? One of life’s great mysteries.

Very good quality yogurt and I love how they have some awesome flavors! They do change the flavors to match the season and then some… Yum! The place is very clean and the employees are very kind and very helpful! I got Janyo gift certificates to hand out to the kids on my block and to my grandkids for Halloween this year. Taryn M

I know once you eat frozen yogurt, you’ve tried them ALL! Actually, first stop by here, and form your own opinion!
PROS: Shop is right on the way to my Country House! LOL! LOVE the convenience! I had the raspberry/​tart swirl! OMGOODNESS! It was almost like having cream and raspberry coolie! OMGOSH! The texture can only be simply put as DIVINE! I added chopped almonds! As I was eating this amazing yogurt… I noticed I was almost at the end of my amazing experience; to my surprise I was about 15 miles away! I SO contemplated turning around and getting more! Me’s cannot, therefore the next visit will be so welcoming! BTW! They’ll give you a JanYo Frozen Yogurt card… I kind of laughed to myself when paying for my yogurt (B.E.“before eating” JanYo), «I’m really not going to use this card, person with the great smile on your face! I am just craving frozen yogurt, and bye bye into the sunset, Amigo!» NOW, I look at my yogurt card with such longing! LOL! Longing to go back and try out that fantastic, amazing JanYo Frozen Yogurt! Till then… Tootles!

I’ve had good luck in Yuba City recently. I checked out JanYo after reading several positive reviews. JanYo is very clean, inviting and fresh. The set up is very neighborhood-​ish and modern.
The drill is similar to most «fro-​yo» joints. You grab a cup or a waffle bowl and pour in however much tasty yogurt you want. You grab your toppings and they weigh the thing. You either spent less than expected or way more than expected after towering on to your heart’s desire. The selection of frozen yogurt was awesome. 12 different flavors if I remember correctly, with the option to swirl your flavors! They also have a rad selection of toppings. Everything you could possibly want. Yum.
My family and I all tried something different. The flavors were super yum. My kids cups came in at $ 1.75 and $ 7.67. LOL my wife and balanced out at $ 3.25 each. Half way thru her bowl my little girl wanted more sprinkles. I walked over asked if I could buy some more sprinkles for my little girl. They let grab some more in a plastic bag. We weighed it and they told me that it was on the house! I was totally willing to pay for the extra toppings. It was a very kind gesture. It made my little girl very happy. Dad was now happy.

4 stars! I’ve had some frozen yogurt in my day from bigger cities, and I have to say, JanYo is right up there with the best. Everything tastes real (meaning, you don’t get that artificial taste you get from 31 Flavors or Brock’s (:-O) even).
Request: CHEESECAKE BITES for the topping!

Great place to go with family or friends. Simple and easy for anyone to come in a try, can get a little pricey if you are not careful in what you pour in your cup.

Great little shop located very close to Sushi Ichiban/​Sandwich Shop area! If you want a Refreshing treat with all kinds of toppings and ice cold yogurt, I definitely recommend coming here! It was perfect on this HOT June summer’s day ;)
The Peach Festival yogurt is AMAZING, I loved the flavor and I also love peaches. I did try a sample of the Watermelon and it did taste similar to watermelon. Toppings, the Strawberry Boba is bomb!!! I wish they had Boba drinks lol. Other toppings I enjoyed were Mochi, Fresh Pineapples, Mango, Coconut, and my fav, Gummy bears! I tried to make mine Hawaiian style, but the Fresh Pineapples were not that great/​sweet compared to Oahu Dole Pineapples :(Next time I would probably skip the fruits and just add Boba, Mochi, and Gummy bears: D They do have an awesome variety of toppings, sauces, and yogurt flavors. As for the sizes and weight, I don’t like to over do it and put too much of anything. They also had waffle bowels, Pretzel sticks dipped in both chocolate or white chocolate, marshmallow dipped pops, and a freezer of what looked like frozen cakes.
Customer service was friendly and the place seems in good clean condition. There are chairs with small tables to sit inside or outside. When we walked in, there was a nice guy asking us if we wanted to try any yogurt samples first, which I am very glad I did. Our total came out to $ 8.76 and that seems reasonable. Overall a very good experience today and this is a place I would like to keep in mind to return, anytime I want a cold refreshing treat. I noticed a sign that said they are open Everyday 11am to 10pm. Great hours!

As someone who likes variety and also wants just a little bit of dessert, I love that you can get any amount of whatever you like here and that you help yourself. I tried small amounts of three different flavors. So happy to see fun and unusual toppings like boba balls and mochi bits. The boba balls aren’t chewy like the tapioca ones in drinks but more like salmon roe. They burst in your mouth. It would great to see one or two offerings with more fat for a richer, creamier taste (but that might be a weird thing to want from a froyo place in CA).

The yogurt is really good and they have low fat and fat free options as well. For example, the thin mint yogurt which is fat free, Is delicious! They also have sugar free options for diabetics. Their toppings bar is not too shabby either. And they give you as many free samples as you like.

Good service. Staff is always welcoming and offers free samples of any flavor you like. Great selection of flavors. Ask for a punch card — buy 8 and get $ 2 off your next yogurt. I love that they post the nutritional info for every flavor right on the machine.

Such a great place! Lots of topping choices, friendly employees, no wait and great prices!

Today was my second time visiting this place.
As soon as my brother and I walked in, we were greeted by an employee, and were told to just ask if we wanted to sample anything.
I sampled the New York Cheesecake flavor, which was pretty yummy, but I decided to go with the Original Tart NSA flavor as a base, then added fresh strawberries, mango, kiwi, shredded coconut, honey and walnuts.
It was absolutely delicious. I love the Original Tart flavor, and was pleased to find out that it’s a permanent flavor there.
I was also happy to see that they offer a wide variety of toppings; including healthier choices such as fresh fruit and nuts.
Additionally, it smelled wonderful when I walked in, plus it features a fun, casual décor… and their drinks are very reasonably priced, too. They offer Snapple, Coke Products and Monster Energy Drinks.
I will be missing this place when I move!

My favorite is the raspberry pomegranate sorbet with gummys.
This is a fun place with fun people behind the counter who are always willing to help a newbie and an oldie find a new flavor.
The toppings are… The tops: fresh fruit, nuts, chocolate, Caramel, candies, cookies and dare i say it… Whip cream.
You pay by the weight so be careful and don’t let your eyes be bigger than your stomach.

Really neat little place. I love the selection of flavors. As well as the selection of really fresh fruit toppings. Loved that there was an employee waiting at the door with a smile offering up samples. Considering the atmosphere and the quality of the product, the price is very reasonable. I will certainly be back. Probably more often than I should be. Oh, and they have a reward/​punch card. A very nice regular patron gave me her filled punch card. So my husband and I got a $ 2 discount!

One of my favorite places! It’s the only place in town for summer treats. They offer a large variety of toppings, fresh fruit (I have seen the chop it fresh), and 8 – 10 different flavors of yogurt.

If you’re in YC and looking for some fantastic froyo, you need to visit Janyo.
I’ve been coming here with my family for awhile now and I’ve never been disappointed. The flavor selection is limited at times, but their staple flavors make up for it. The Cake Batter is my absolute favorite! They also have a great selection of toppings too. The staff is super sweet and always offer to let you try a sample.
Definitely give this place a try if you’re a froyo lover like me!

They’re ok. I like” Spoon Me” better. Lol. And its not about the brand. Its also next to Starbucks. I love it… but yeah, Janyo is good too… can’t complain. Its just a matter of taste and preference. :) that’s all I can say for now. #RealTalk
