I just left the store and had purchased a certificate for $ 15 off a purchase of $ 30 or more. After ordering extras just so I could reach the $ 30 I was told that they had decided not to accept those certificates anymore! I don’t understand how a business can sell gift certificates and then tell the customer that they have just decided not to accept them anymore. Based on poor business ethics alone I will never return.

I’ve been to this little pizza shop quite a few times since they opened. In fact, I’m a member of their«Circle of Crust»(sounds vaguely religious) frequent buyer program. My favorite pizza is the bbq chicken, with added garlic, banana peppers, and bacon on gf crust. Their gluten free crust is better than most. The array of topping choices is more numerous than most places. I like how you can get an unlimited number of toppings for the same price. No matter which pizza I have built it’s always tasted good. You have to go at an off-hour to get seat, as the dining room is fairly small. The only negative I’ve noticed is the tendency for the tables to be dirty, but what do you expect in a place run by teenagers(I’ve seriously never seen a grown-ass adult in there working/managing).

Crust is kind of cardboardy but choosing all the toppings is cool.

I agree with everything Jordan K. said about this restaurant. The pizza actually tasted pretty good and the price wasn’t terrible, but there were just a lot of little things that need work. The first weird thing that happened was that the menu is on the wall to the side right as you walk in. The pizzas are pretty small, so I had to order three for my crew. But by the time I got to the front, I’ve forgotten the names of one of the pizzas, so I’m trying to crane my neck and see a menu that is 15 feet behind me and has people standing in front of it. Who designs a restaurant where the menu isn’t visible from where you place your order? Maybe that seems like a small thing, but I’m juggling kids and I could barely see the menu from the counter and it put me in a bad mood. There didn’t appear to be anyone working who wasn’t a teenager. Everyone was very friendly, but there just seemed to be a clear lack of management. None of the tables were clean when we went to sit down and no one seemed to be in charge of keeping up the lobby. We had to wipe down our own table. The bathroom had some kind of high tech sink that my kids really enjoyed, but again, it didn’t really have that«clean» feel. The biggest issue was that I wanted a gluten free/dairy free pizza. I was super excited when I read on their website that they could do that because I haven’t had pizza in a really long time! However, the guy in front of me also got a gluten free pizza and when I saw them making it, my stomach sunk. They have a container of pizza sauce with a ladle in it and they use the ladle to rub the pizza sauce on the pizzas. Then they use the same container and same ladle to make the gluten free pizzas. You can’t avoid all cross contamination when you eat at restaurants, but that seems a little over the top. They have all the supplies for allergen meals, but it’s clear there was absolutely no training whatsoever as to how to prepare them. I asked the kid to open a new container of pizza sauce for me and he happily obliged. In the 15 minutes I was at the counter waiting on my pizza, five different people ordered gluten free pizza, so clearly it’s not a rare thing. We might go back, I’m not sure. I hope management can work on things because I really did enjoy the pizza.

So I’ve waited until my third or fourth visit to leave this review. I’ve been mid week and during peak times Friday and Saturday, and I finally feel like I can leave an accurate review. Overall this place seems like some investors purchased this franchise with no intentions of ever being there. The place looks to be run by no one over the age of 20, this isn’t inherently a bad thing, but I don’t feel as though there is much restaraunt management/customer service experience from any of the staff. The pizza is fine, order their staples or make your own, very simple menu makes for an easy ordering and checkout process. The seating is jam packed and this place is usually busy so it always feels very tight in here, IMO they should take out about 5 tables or so and free up some space. 2 of the 4 times I’ve been they have had issues with their soda machine, sort of frustrating. Overall cleanliness of the restaraunt is probably a 5⁄10 parmesean and red pepper shakers usually dirty, table and chairs not cleaned off, and the soda machine station is usually a wreck. This place is going to need to bring in some managers or partners that want to see this place succeed and actually spend some time here training the extremely young staff and keeping up with basic restaraunt maintenence if this place is to become a long standing fast dining option in Anson.

Well… that went down quick, we went in on a non-busy time(7:30 pm) and it took longer than usual. The kids working that shift, were so out of it. You could tell it’s the ones who don’t need to work, they are made by their parents. Anyways. The food was terrible, so bad that I won’t be returning for a very long time, if not ever. It was just atrocious.

Well, past Unilocalers, their pizza is now $ 7.49. However, I am sure additional 50 cents won’t prevent you from returning. I built my own pizza with the artisan thin crust, chicken, mushrooms, pineapples, spinach, onions, black olives, and banana peppers. They cut my pizza into 6 pieces — probably the size of a small pizza. Apparently, the magic dust is comprised of Romano cheese, parmesan cheese, and herbs. The décor was unique with the periodic table of pizza ingredients. The ladies’ restroom had 3-in-1 washing area of soap, water, and electric hand dryer.

I ordered the spicy sauce much to my regret– very very hot and I could not finish my pizza. Liked the concept but I didn’t care for the crust– flatbread is too thin. I prefer Blaze to this place — like the set up better — they are better organized-and their spicy sauce is spicy but good-not inedible. To be fair my husband also had the spicy sauce and thought it was okay.

I waited a few times to review as all new places have growing pains and this is 5 min from home. This has become the picky wife’s personal favorite pizza place, and mine too. Maybe 15+ people in line Saturday night at 7:30. I timed it. 19 Minutes flat from standing in line to out the door with to go order. Not bad with only 3 working the front, no slackers working there. I expected worse. I had the 5 star with mushrooms added. Wife had the Athenian. Only gripe is no phone in or fax in orders. At least yet, they said. The Unknown Diner digs it the most!

Pie Five any day for me please! The mama came to visit and recommended we try this place. She’s from out of town so I questioned whether she knew what she was talking about, but after visiting family in Texas, she found this place and saw that we had two local establishments here in Indy! As you may recall, there’s a brand spankin new Pie Five downtown near all the action on E. Washington with a huge sign that spins around — fancy right?! But what you may not know is that there’s another one hidden near Anson Village in Zionsville/Whitestown off I65! This is the one we decided to venture out for. This place is on fleek! Or whatever the kids are saying these days :) The outside invites you in and the baked pizza smell is intoxicating as you try to choose what you want from the menu. If you don’t learn anything from this review, remember this… all pizzas are $ 6.99 and are baked in 5 minutes. And the best part? They taste amazing! You get your choice of crust, sauce, toppings… anything you’d like. Build your own or choose from a list of pizzas they’ve put together for you on the menu. They build it right in front of you and then bake it. They also have salad bowls where the crust is your bowl… I know right?! Remember to get the magic dust at the end… trust me! And, you can’t come here and not get one of their desserts. We opted for a slice of their turtle dessert pizza — um WOW! Listen, the price is right, the food is great, and the place is altogether modern, fun, and comfortable. Run, don’t walk, to Pie Five!

Noticed this place while in town for a soccer tournament nearby. Looked it up online to make sure they had gluten free options. It was Amazing! It’s like a Chipote for pizza or salad. So many options, everyone got what they wanted so the entire family was happy! It was hard to believe that all pizzas were only $ 6.99. It was $ 2 extra for the gf crust but we are used to that and it was well worth the cost. You could add a side salad and drink for $ 3 which is also nice. The food was delicious and fresh. The restaurant was clean and the employees helpful and friendly. Highly reccomend this place! Can’t wait to go back next time we are in town. Hopefully, a location will open closer to home.

We had a coupon for a buy 1, get 1 and decided to use it tonight. We ordered a BBQ chicken and a custom pizza. The BBQ was better than the custom, which was soggy in the middle. NBD at the price point. We live within 10 minutes of the restaurant and the pizzas were cold by the time we got home. This isn’t anyone’s fault, but kind of disappointing if you were looking to pick something hot up on the way home. I would recommend eating it at the restaurant.

Took my first trip to the newest location of Pie Five. When our party walked in the door the line was wrapping around into the dining area. This location has only been open a few days and they were slammed as expected since there aren’t many restaurant choices in the area. After about a 30 minute wait of inching up to the front of the line it was time to get down to business! I got the Five Star pizza(like a supreme pizza) with extra sauce on pan crust and a turtle brownie. My partner in crime ordered the High Five(meat) on pan crust and the spinach salad. Can I just take a second to say that all pizzas are $ 6.99? Like, it doesn’t matter what toppings you get… they’re all $ 6.99. We opted for the combo– 1 pizza, dessert or salad, and a drink for $ 9.99. After paying at the register we were lucky enough to find a table in the back that kept us from the majority of the crowd awaiting their delicious pies. The pizza is really, really good. In my opinion anyone can do toppings well. The hard part is the sauce and the crust. For me, Pie Five nails it! The Tuscan marinara sauce is rich and bold and sweet. The crust is the right amount of chewy and crispy without being too heavy(pan style). The salad was pretty good too. It comes in a crispy… pizza crust bowl?(I think) and the turtle brownie was pretty tasty too. My only suggestion/wish is that they get some kind of window dressing on the west side of the building. The sun was a little unbearable at 6:30PM. Overall this place is great. I will 100% go back.
