Delicious food. Had the king of queens sandwich with soup/baked potato. Yummy. Clean environment and fresh food.

Oh no, the worst! Coming from the east coast I was looking for a true deli experience. I foyld the food greasy, alot of fat and just not appealing. I couldnt finish it. I ended up throwing it away. The poor quaility of meat products is inexcusable. Don’t eat there Ever!

This is a nice spot. It is an New York Italian sandwich deli. I came in the middle of lunch, not too busy, they took my order and served me promptly, with a smile. Menu is easy to understand, and eventually I want to try everything on it. …I should tell you,.I love sandwiches. The place is clean, comfortable, economical, and efficient. They play old style New York music! It great! …and just at the right volume, …you can still have a conversation. I recommend it. It’s good for what it is, that’s why I gave it 5 stars. Enjoy!

Stopped here while on a business trip. Had the knuckle sandwich with the red pepper gouda cheese soup. Absolutely terrific. Sandwich was large and flavorful and soup was impressive. I travel to New York often and it is on par from a sandwich standpoint.

Recommend the Poblano chicken chowder. Very tasty, not overly spicy. Didn’t detect any actual chicken, assume it is chicken based.

Been there several times since it recently opened. Everything I’ve tried so far has been very good. Soups too. It’s on our short list for our company lunch joints. Service was quick. Only gripe is they seem to not be able to keep tables clean ahead of customers. You see a lot of people wiping tables on their own. The Unknown Diner Digs it!

Incredibly RUDE wait staff — I normally give people the benefit of the doubt but both counter girls never made eye contact, spoke like babies and I had to ask her to repeat everything twice and still zero eye contact! For $ 50 in a meal I am sure there are better places to throw your money for a friendly service. As I sit and wait and look at the people sitting and eating in the restaurant there is not a single attempt by any service staff to simply ask«everything ok» — moor these kids care more about chatting in their employee group — guy making the food doesn’t even have on a uniform!

I ordered a cold turkey sandwich and it was good although it could have used another piece of bacon. The salad was a good size and was okay. The soups change daily so I was disappointed they did not have the Italian wedding soup which I have had before and it is good. The staff is a bit slow in figuring out your order and it would help if they had menus to look at since they have so many offerings you are trying to read off the board. If I was in the area I would definitely return as it is one of the better places in the area for lunch.

I’m a vegetarian & ordered a Riverhead for breakfast and was given a Radio City instead. I noticed it after I unwrapped it when I got home. I guess I should have took it out of the bag and unwrapped it while I was there to double-check what I ordered is what they actually made. I drove back to exchange it and they were out of eggs… at 9am. Worse yet, the girl behind the counter said she wasn’t authorized to give refunds because the manager wasn’t there and made no attempt to troubleshoot the problem.

End of the lunch hour on Friday. It’s not very busy. It should be based on the quality and flavor of this lunch. It would be nice to get a ½ sandwich, a cup of soup and a coffee for around $ 10.00, so I think this is just a bit over priced at $ 12.61.(charged ¢50 to swap Swiss to pepper-jack) Good food! A tad over priced in my opinion. But worth a visit for a great sandwich.

Lukewarm food, high prices for too little corned beef. Soups apparently frozen or reheated and not heated enough. Reuben barely warm, not toasty grilled like a good reuben. Hot dog was on a bun the size of Manhattan and not even possible to eat as a hot dog on a bun. Part of my Nathans hot dog had been removed to put the chili on it and never replaced(wonder who ate part of my hot dog? Husband will never return, I might try the pastries or breakfast sandwiches. I’ve been there twice, prices are higher than Shapiro’s and not nearly as filling. I’d love to see this establishment succeed, Anson needs these eateries. Kitchen staff needs someone to inform them and teach them how to cook(use a pannini? grill for the reuben, like Shapiros) cause my Reuben was NOT grilled to toasty perfection, barely lukewarm, just like the Chicken Tortilla Soup. Shape up guys, please?

Love this place! Great selection of authentic deli sandwiches. Plus they serve breakfast sandwiches ALLDAY! Super friendly service, it’s a new place so there is still some kinks to figure out but overall I can’t wait to go back!

Would be a 5 but service was a little slow and workers appeared frazzled but that is also to be expected when a business first opens. Great food!

Blah. Split house on this one. My parents liked their sandwiches, my husband and I did not. I believe their claims that the sides are made in house as the potato salad and the cole slaw had no taste — both need a little time for the flavors to meld. Won’t be back any time soon.

The food here is so gross. I ordered the chicken Alfredo pasta and when it was served to me the plate was super hot but the sauce on top of the pasta was disgusting cold and thick and chunky… when I bit into the chicken the outer part was warm and the inside was cold as well. I would recommend they use a different sauce… I seriously left 2⁄3 of my food on the table when I left. My fiancé order the I love New York sandwich and he said it tasted barely warm as well. The bread was not good at all he just ended up picking the meat out and eating it. You guys need to step your game up seriously… 1 star for my sons fruit cup and chocolate milk. That’s it

Even adjusting for the fact that they are newly opened, the service is extremely slow, taking up to 20 minutes for an order of 5 sandwiches and they were not close to being busy, so there was no excuse. The sandwiches can only be described as fancy subway sandwiches, consisting mainly of bread and toppings, with a small portion of meat. A Brooklyn Bridge sandwich for instance had roughly 3 – 4 pieces of turkey at $ 8+. Of the 5 of us ordering that night, only one was slightly satisfied with their order. We might check back again in several months to see if it has improved, then again, we might not.

The long awaited wait is finally over. Pastrami on rye to die for. Glad it’s right next door.
