when l walked up to the Riverside bank and bar the first impression that l got was a modern bar, clean and well organised it’s good to see someone take pride in their business. It felt warm and welcoming the food is reasonable and the drink here is pretty cheap. Well worth a visit if you are ever passing by.

Looking the part, the Riverbank Bar and Diner is easily the most modern and inviting bar on the waterfront of Helensburgh.
While admittedly this isn’t a feat which would take much effort, owners have worked hard to make this a good spot for locals and visitors alike. Offering solid pub grub and some fantastic drink offers, 2 quid for a bottle of Stella, 2.40 for a pint of Fosters, the bar is also licensed until 2am on Fridays and Saturdays, although it can get a little rowdy at these times.
Nevertheless, it represents a decent place to watch a game and offers some truly spectacular views of the Clyde if you catch it on a crisp, clear day.
