As prices go, I would say that the bus fares are very reasonable especially the Aylesbury to Oxford trip which only takes about an hour. As the station goes, it is a little miserable and dark down there and as said above, not very well sign posted. The only way you can work out when the bus is coming is to use the television screens, although they are quite hard to read. Some of the bus drivers are very friendly and sometimes quite funny, although on other occasions I have thought some quite miserable but this does not really make much of a difference to the journey.

I went on the 280 from Aylesbury to Oxford for £3.90p single ticket(Oct 2008). The station is not very well sign posted and a bit drab. But if it gets one from A to B then thats all that matters. The journey was about 70 minutes. It was great to get out into the countryside. The crops were still awaiting an harvest. There was lots of horses and livestock roaming about. The houses were at times cute. Some new builds look so dreadfull! Thame was interesting. It still looked stuck in the 1970’s. The main area’s were packed full of people. Its a nice little journey.
