Friendly village pub atmosphere. Extensive pub grub menu. … prices fair to maybe a bit on the steep side. The food we sampled was okay… quite edible but nothing really special. There is a cheap menu deal for the over 60’s, however, I have heard that the portions are quite small.

This is a lovely old coaching inn located in a little village called Adderbury. It was a delightful lunch stop and the food was of good quality if a little slow on a sunday afternoon. The large low beamed dining room was very busy when we arrived but we managed to get a table with a lovely aspect and it felt very festive. A number of small rooms with narrow doorways give this place a lovely character feel.
