This BK seems to be the stalwart of the food court in Bloomfield, which itself appears not to be as busy as it once was, the chinese is gone and the the upstair seating was closed off as usual, but still BK is there, seemingly immortal! On the saturday we were there, the whole shopping cnetre seemed to be rather dead, certainly when we went to BK, there was no food ready to be lifted straight away, so anythng would have to be freshly made, and indeed it was, and was great, my only complaint was that they were a little too generous with the BBQ sauce on my BBQ whopper, leaving it a bit sticky, the chilli cheese bits were cooked right through, like a mini Chernobyl in the mouth and the chips tasted great(take note Antrim BK!) The only downer was that the staff need to, how could I put this? CHEERUPFORCHRIST’S SAKE!!! But there you go, good BK grub made fresh, even if the staff look like they’re facing a firing squad.

I usually wouldn’t review the likes of a Burger King, because it is a chain and you kind of know what you are getting. But I thought I might as well give this place a mention because it is part of a busy food court and you may be stuck for a bit of a choice. This one has been part of the food court for ages and ages, despite some upheaval around it which probably shows that the service and stuff are decent enough. The food is what it is, its fast food and will just about fill a hole. You can’t eat it too often for fear of heart disease but if you’re hungover you may as well get a Burger King. It’s based right in Bloomfield Shopping Centre which means there are lots of other shops around, ATMS, plenty of parking and good access to main roads.
