Been coming to this new Starbucks for a while now. I reckon it’s only a few months old as one minute this place was derelict the next thing there’s a new Starbucks. Like reviewers before me, Starbucks is Starbucks. What you get here is what you get everywhere else. This particular time I’m in for a bit of revision before tomorrow’s test and before I head over to work. Thankfully it’s quite chilled out, but I think that’s again down to people not even noticing it’s here. It’s a lovely spot too, great view over Donegal Square and well lit, a/c is a plus point too. I’m especially happy with it as I usually always get a comfy sofa to sit on compared to elsewhere such as castle court where you rarely get a seat, let alone a comfortable one. I would definitely reccomend you call in here before the other larger Starbucks throughout Belfast as you’re nearly guaranteed a much quieter and chilled out coffee/tea here than elsewhere.

Apparently this Starbucks is so new that it’s not even listed on the Starbucks website yet. We had to go and ask the baristas downstairs for the address. And what a lovely, shiny new Starbucks it is. Starbucks is Starbucks, yes. But different branches can vary vastly with size, comfort, noise level and the like. This Starbucks has only one seat downstairs, and upstairs leads to a beautiful big room with a long bench with power points(great for laptop works), couches, and smaller tables. It’s clean. They’re not playing jazz(the bane of my Starbucks existence, the same jazz-on-repeat playlist), and the staff are really friendly. It’s right in the middle of the city too. If I were to live in Belfast, I’d probably come here fairly often for a wee cake, tea and use of their wifi for a few hours. Nice job S’bucks!
