Juicy Jocks Fruit and Veg Stall

Situated roughly in the middle of the Bullring Outdoor Market, Juicy Jocks is a small but proud stall selling a modest selection of fruit and vegetables. They appear to sell via one method only, which is bowls of whatever fruit or vegetable for a pound (eg a bowl of tomatoes for a pound, a bowl of mushrooms for a pound etc). This method of selling fruit and vegetables has become more and more popular amongst Birmingham’s independent retailers over the last few years and was apparently imported from Africa originally.
Like I say, the selection isn’t huge, but there are plenty of other stalls on the Outdoor Market that deal in the more obscure fruit and vegetables. However, the quality is definitely very good, with there being no noticeable difference to equivalent products bought in supermarkets, and in some cases is probably a little better. You get quite a lot of whatever your buying too, which is useful if you’re trying to add more to your five a day.
All in all, a good, cheap, friendly little stall.
