Fresh and tasty food. I come here from time to time for breakfast or brunch. Their sandwiches are very good with a wide variety of choices especially if you come early in the morning. There are many branches scattered all over the city even in Birmingham airport. They have fresh juices, which are also very good. I had the apple and ginger shot which was very refreshing. The following day I had the carrot juice, also very good. What I like about Pret A Manger is that they keep bringing new varieties and they seem to read your mind, whatever you think of, they bring it!

I really have a soft spot for Pret. I used to be invisible to me until a couple of months ago where I finally entered and fell for it! I really like the offerings of soft drinks(which is often so abandoned) and the crisps are lovely. I might have had 2 packets in one sitting…

A super quick lunch in Pret before going to work! This time I had the veggie salad with quinoa, lentils, and… Mint?! Omg, goes SO good with the salad! Very fresh. Thanks Pret!

This place was a lifesaver during my 6 weeks training with Fit Body Bootcamp. As most of you will know, I am out and about in the City every single day. As part of my nutrition plan for Bootcamp, I had to stick to a strict diet of healthy proteins, fats and carbs all day, every day. As much as I like to pack my own lunch, some days this just wasn’t do able! No one wants to be that guy who takes their own food into someone else’s venue(especially not me), so I was severely limited as to where I could go. If anyone has any«Birmingham Independent Salad Heroes», I would love to hear them. Most of the salads available in coffee shops and lunch spots have lots of croûton’s and things on, taking them off the menu for a low carb diet. I was literally stuck and the only place I could think of going to get my lunch was Pret. Now, I don’t really have a problem with Pret. I would always prefer to go independent venues as and when I can, but these guys are ethical with their food waste and offer a filter coffee for 99pm(which puts them at the top of my chains to visit). Two days in a row I ended up grabbing my lunch from here. Their salads are really good. I’m not normally one to spend £5 plus on a salad, but with a choice of avocado, prawns and tender stem broccoli(with a menu that changes daily), they top the list of delicious salad options on New Street. On both occasions I grabbed my lunch and sat in the large upstairs area to eat. The first time was around peak lunch hour, so I ended up sharing my table with someone else(about 1pm). The second visit was just after 2pm and was much more chilled and less busy. Again, I wouldn’t say this place is a must-visit. It’s the same old Pret food and service you are going to get at any of the stores in the chain, however, it’s good food and a convenient location. You could do far worse!

Ive always been a bit of a bread fiend and pret certainly aids the addiction! As a lover of tastes and textures the artisan rolls are a massive draw in to pret for me, prosciutto and basil being the killer combo! The selection of other flavours and the variety of «handmade» and«locally sourced» produce(carbonated beverages, juices and snacks) is also a refreshing change for mass produced lunches. The staff, although slightly robotic at times, are always pleasant and very efficicient at getting the lunchtime rush dealt with a polite but industrious manner. A useful note would be around the limited supply of popular produce, as everything is handmade on the day you may hit a snag if you enjoy the popular ranges during busy times(I have had to deviate from my standard choice on a number of occassions) and this can especially be true around the hot foods such as the meatball wraps(so good!) so be prepared to browse for an alternative, a one sandwich mind may lead to disappointment! As a quick hit, tasty well priced lunch though — definately onto a winner!

This place is great when you fancy a little something special for lunch, instead of a boring Tesco’s sandwich. The food is lovely and of high quality. The food is handmade fresh and quality and creative ingredients are used. You can taste the quality from the first bite. They do sandwiches, wraps, paninis, sushi, soups, salads and cakes, as well as hot breakfast rolls and a range of beverages. The good thing about this place is that it has a good selection for vegetarians and many food Items are egg free for allergy sufferers. The different variety of soups is amazing. I will try one next time. I had the Prawn and Salmon sushi which was very good, very tasty with pickled ginger and Japanese horseradish. You can eat in for an extra £1, there is a nice seating area, however I took my lunch out. The location is good as it’s very close to the Bullring shopping centre and New St Station, as well as the central library and Broad st. For the quality, the food is not overly priced which is a bonus. Check out the Menu online — and check out Pret!

Love this Pret store in Birmingham its got a huge range of products from Sandwiches to soups to wraps and bakery products its got everything! I dont really like the interior as the tables and chairs look really cheap and tacky considering your paying quite alot if you have a drink, sandwich and cake. The food is mostly all natural and very tasty with some unique flavours. Quality and a the staff are top of the list a Pret and they will always be my favourite place to go for a quick lunch!

Great place to grab dinner. I’m veggie, i don’t smoke, and i’m thankful for that, because if i wasn’t i’m sure i wouldn’t be able to appreciate Pret’s food like i do. It may be more expensive but you can really tell the difference. The soups are always good — they fill you up and just make you feel well, and the handcooked vegetable crisps are just brilliant. Staff at this store are also spot on. I was in there one time and two mature ladies purchased a croissant each and were shocked that it didn’t come with a drink, so the person behind the counter just gave them a drink each on the house — no effort, no rigmarole, just a very nice human gesture Made me feel even better about my sarnie.

I’m not too fond of Pret’s chrome interior — it looks cheap and tacky. But their food is excellent. All their sandwiches, wraps, salads and soups are made on the premises and on the day, so are always fresh. Pret’s food is wholesome and nutritious, making it taste even better. I also love the idea of the slim sandwich(half a sandwich) — great for when you’re just after a snack! Their soups are absolutely delicious and the servings are perfect. Prices are reasonable, though being a student, i couldn’t afford to eat pret food every day.
