St Bernards Grange

Unfortunately, I’ve only ever used this pub for locality reasons. It’s very close to where I live, so it’s a handy place to stop by for a drink with friends.
Other than this, I find my experiences in the pub very dull and boring ones, especially without masses of friends sitting inside. The walls and carpets are dark and gloomy, and the atmosphere lacks any customer vibrancy. During week time, you’ll often be the only people having a drink inside.
Drink prices are fairly expensive, and for limited selection, you’d expect to pay cheaper. I bought lambs dark rum (the only rum they have other than Barcadi) and coke for £3.10, which I find a little over priced.
The staff are, and always have been, quite cold and frosty. A lot of them don’t even ask what you want, or crack a smile, they just stare at you as if you’re making the place look untidy. If you want to make money, the workers should at least make customers feel welcomed. (In fact, I think new staff should be hired)
The garden fence has also been broken and fallen down for years now. It’s about time it was replaced or taken away completely

The interior décor looks like it hasn’t been treated to a lick of paint in a while and the smell of stale beer wafted through mynose upon entering the building
This is a typical pub venue that is ideal for a quick drink.
Beer, food and somewhere to sit. You shouldn’t need shiny decorations and glass tables to enjoy a quality drink with some grub.
The staff weren’t exactly friendly and the food took ages to come.

St Bernards Grange usually referred to as The Grange is one pub many use for a pub lunch. I am still in two minds to how I rate the food here. I have had multiple experiences with the mixed grill from having a tasty feast of food to a crispy small portion of slightly cold food. Some of the waiters I found less than friendly and not willing to help. My recent visit was met with ignorant staff and a messy table. With that said I thoroughly enjoyed the mixed grill this time round and enjoyed a cool glass of strongbow to help wash it down, attached to this pub is a wacky warehouse. The layout of the pub is spacious and is appropriate for kids.

Its ok food if you like micro-​wave food :-o

Nice large pub loads of room. Good 2 for 1 menu well priced with good meals. Locals pub gets buys weekends. Has live footy to do cant be bad. Live bands also end of the month om fridayd
