The DoveCote is a community pub opposite Cockshut Hill school. It’s not the most aesthetically pleasing and it is not where I would make a concious decision to spend my day. But when the sun is out the DoveCote manages to attract a lot of local customers. They serve a good beer and if you’re local to the pub then why not, although it does not go down as my personal preference. The DoveCote has many regulars that have been going there for years and the nature of the close-​knit society always has made me feel a lit awkward about entering.
