Not my usual pub of choice but its in a great location (if your friend supports West Brom!) and serves quality Indian food which goes perfect with a beer,
Thay also have regular BBQs available which are delicious.
If you’re looking for a pub that plays the match on TV then you should give the Royal Oak a try.
I went with a friend to watch the football, we had a a couple of beers and finished the night with a curry.
It wasn’t very busy when we went but I preferred that. Good pub for a chilled out night ending with a tikka massala!

Again this is another pub that can get packed before a West Bromwich Albion home fixture. But it is a pub that has a great atmosphere and the food here is not too bad either.
The Royal Oak is based on Holyhead Road and if you are in Birmingham looking for somewhere to have a pint, give this pub a try. If you do go for a drink here also have some food to go along with it.
This pub specialises in Indian food and they are now serving BBQ’s on a daily basis. I have tried some of the food at The Royal Oak and I have to admit it is top notch. I do love my Indian food and this is a pub I am going back to for sure.
No complaints whatsoever and the staff are first-​class as well. When you have a pub that has great food, great atmosphere and friendly staff, you cannot go wrong and for me The Royal Oak ticks all the boxes.
