Travelodge Birmingham Fort Dunlop

Our recent Christmas party (which was filmed for ITV2 — go ahead and watch it Wednesday 17^th December!) was held at Fort Dunlop, which is connected to this Travelodge.
It’s a functional building, with the rooms only down one side, giving a beautiful *ahem* view of the surrounding car park and industrial area. The functionality goes for the staff as well, as they are a little sharp and with a no discernible sense of humour. However, they do enjoy a chat with each other, so that’s nice to know.
The rooms are actually quite large given their general use — which I believe is somewhat on the hourly rate — and the bathroom was clean. The bed was amazingly comfortable for a Travelodge, and that’s basically all one needs after a Christmas party.
If you’re in this direct area, it’s an alright shout. Just don’t go out of your way.

Excellent place to stay over if you happen to work at the modern newly revamped building that is Fort Dunlop which is just connected to it, you cannot miss it. It gives a photoscenic view of the surrounding far afield thats sure to give you a good nights sleep and good morning introduction.

A fantastic travelodge which is excellent value for money, especially if you book well in advance, see the website for details, sometimes rooms are available for £19!
The location isn’t central within the city but it is an easy drive in and there are plenty of restaraunts located near. The location is however perfect for an overnight stop if you are travelling on the motorway.
The rooms were great, very modern, spacious and clean. The staff were friendly helpful. The food is very overpriced in comparison to quality.
