Travelodge Hotel

Oh dear. Where to begin. If you are unfortunate enough to want a central Broad St location and the other hotels are booked up and you end up here… Be afraid… Be very afraid. Pricewise, 40 quid plus 6 quid parking for 24 hours, half a mile away aint bad. That’s where the good news ends. It is akin to a Delinquents Youth Centre. Hoards of screaming, trampy juveniles, seemingly delirious they have been let loose for a night. Broken lifts, disguisting carpets, litter everywhere and a décor that would make Frank Gallagher blush. Unsealed windows, grime and grot everywhere, filthy rooms and a napkin for a duvet.
If you were to visit Royston Vaysey, this would be where you would stay… You’ll never leave… Argghhhh! ‘Allo Daaaave.
Abandon hope all ye that enter here.

Nice hotel. The beauty of this hotel is the location — On Broad Street, you are able to stumble to your room after a late night or if you get lucky and pull, it’s the ideal location to get to your room hassle free. Nice clean rooms and breakfast is good. Parking available at rear of hotel. Staff friendly and pubs, bars, cinemas, restaurants all nearby.
