When I lived in Manchester, I regularly went to Boots Opticians and thought the service and opticians were excellent.
I wish I could say the same for the Brighton branch.
I’ve only been twice but both times, I had to wait nearly half an hour to see someone. When I finally did and paid for the relevant site tests, I wasn’t particularly impressed with the service or the outcome. The first time I saw three different people and the second time, I was given the test by an optician that seemed completely distracted and apathetic. When I mentioned I’d been suffering from aural migraines, she just looked at me like I’d cracked a bad joke and said I should go back for another sight test in 12 months.
I will but it will be to another optician next time.
