Much like a dorm room on a college campus. Staff is not knowledgable; bar tender is rude. Lots of construction near here.

I found this to be a decent hotel for the area but have stayed in better locations within Brighton. Staff were as helpful as they could be, breakfast was A OK but no parking. You have to call, go on an internet site, or walk over to the train ticket station to pay for parking. Very very very inconvenient. I had to do this each day. They should have a ticket system in place where you pay the hotel and the hotel pays the car park. Even if they up charge a few pounds…

This is a chain of hotels that have their formula and it works to a degree. In point form. 1. Great location, right next to Brighton Station and close to central Brighton 2. Big Hotel so can be noisy 3. Budget service so limited 4. Good price for location and standard 5.Walls are a bit thin 6. The beds are very small doubles and uncomfortable 7. Pleasant service staff 8. Expensive wifi I recommend this hotel for its convenience and price. Stay on the 4th floor or above and you can get reasonable service for 3G to avoid paying for wifi if you need the internet.

Jurys Inn Brighton is a great modern city-hotel located 3 minutes from the Brighton Train Station. I use the term ‘city hotel’ because the layout and amenaties are very similar to what you would find in a metro hotel in Belgium or Germany — a clean and modern lobby, a small bar with late night service, a large breakfast buffet dining room, and rooms that are all clean and modern and well equipped. The breakfast buffet is worth it I feel whether included or bought on the spot, the full English breakfast including black pudding and bangers and grilled tomatos as well as continental favorites such as rolls, yoghurt, cheese, sliced deli meats and hot and cold cereal selections. Coffee is actually pretty tasty! I have stayed at several B&B’s in Brighton in the past and have really developed a love for this hotel property. It’s a nice 10 minute walk to shopping, another 5 – 10 to all of the pubs and restaurants, and if you are here for business as I frequently am, in my opinion for location and amenities it’s the best bet. I deduct 1-star for having great value but no ‘packages’ upon arrival — wifi is extra, breakfast is extra(if you don’t book it as part of your booking) — I will be emailing them to see if they would offer a Wifi + Breakfast package for folks staying 3 – 5 nights at a go as I do. But otherwise I can’t really ding this hotel — it’s on par with a Holiday Inn or Hilton Garden Hotel or Marriott Express, perhaps even a bit nicer than many.

I remember being sad when Jury’s Inn was built. I cried into my pillow, as yet another new, soulless building popped up next to Brighton station, marring its beauty forever. OK I didn’t do that, and the hotel’s impact on me and the surrounding area was not so extreme. I did, however, cringe when I came back from my year abroad and this hotel had appeared on my doorstep. It seemed like yet another indicator of Brighton’s waning personality. However, like Joseph J. my parents came to stay and though they normally opt for the more centrally located Premier Inn, they chose Jury’s Inn, as it was closer to my house. Maybe it’s something to do with being older, but my parents also enjoyed the predictable quality of the establishment– spacious rooms, clean bathrooms, friendly staff and total convenience. Whereas I don’t think I would choose Jury’s Inn– I prefer somewhere with a bit more character and grit– I can see that this hotel is ideally located for visitors to the city– central but just far enough away from the immediate hustle and bustle of the town. The proximity of the train station also makes the hotel ideal for those on fleeting business trips. It is also possible to hold conferences at the hotel. My parents and I steered clear of the food, but there is a nice little outside courtyard with seating, for al fresco drinks in the summer!

This is Brighton newest Hotel. It is much needed in a town where its near impossible to get a room during Pride or festival season. It has bars and a café. The interior is superior than to its other rivals. Believe it or not one can get a room for £60. Or ring for info on their deals. Its right by the Brighton train station.
