I always like to pop into charity shops if I have a bit of spare time on my lunch break or if I am shopping in town. The British Heart Foundation is a great charity, and the shops are in turn pretty good. I never really buy clothes from here, but they do often have some good DVD’s on sale. I did also manage to find a really beautiful vase on one visit and that now sits proudley on a window ledge in my house, usually with some flowers in it. The shop is very well organised, and the staff are very friendly, pop in if you have a free moment or two next time you are passing by.

This is by far my favourite charity shop on Gloucester Road — and there are plenty to choose from! This BHF shop is well organised, has a great selection of goods and efficient, friendly volunteers. My favourite thing about this particular store is the window displays which are eye-catching and well thought out. This store is particularly good for buying bric a brac, so if you need new cups or glasses — head to BHF!

British Heart Foundation is a charity which supports research, prevention and care for those living with heart disease. This is a cheery little charity shop with a good mix of clothes and nick-nacks which are fairly modern. The staff are really friendly and helpful. A good one to stop at if you are doing the run of charity shops up Gloucester Road.
