Jack Wills and Superdry are the two esential stores if you want to fit in with the student and general young person culture of Bristol. Nearly every person under the age of 25 who looks remotley trendy will be decked out in one of these brands. The clothes in Jack Wills are extremely high quality and always seem to fit any shape really well, you do have to have a bit of money if you intend on shopping here. Don’t be put off by the stereotype that alot of people attach to stores like this(like I pretty much did at the start of this review!) and if you like the clothes treat yourself.

Located on Queens road between the Clifton triangle and the Wills memorial building, Jack Wills sells ‘Fabulously British clothes’ but also at a high British price! The clothes themselves are of good quality and range from country club to preppy styles. The store is fairly small however, and the clothes are very neatly packed together. As with all Jack Wills stores, it is amazingly decorated(of a little pretentious at times) and it feels like stepping into a VIP country club. The staff are very helpful at finding the items you want as it can be quite difficult with the space issue. Overall not the best Jack Wills store for layout and size, but it does the job and sells the products while still keeping with the companies British style face.

Quality goods at high prices; Jack Wills in the epitome of middle-class fashion. Plaid shirts, polos and ra-ra skirts rule supreme here. I can imagine Jack Wills is what is worn on country estates or at Henley Regatta. There’s no denying that the clothes are well made and will long outlast my charity shop bought ensemble, but Jack Wills feels a tad lifeless. The clothes have no soul or interesting features that encourages me to pay their prices. There’s also pretty dull cosmetics and a range of accessories in store. Pleasant staff, tidy, tiny store, bit on the boring side.
