Admittedly I’ve never bought a car from this place, nor had my car serviced here, so I can only legitimately comment on the Petrol Station part of this business, but I think it’s worth a comment nonetheless.
Having a petrol station in the village is in itself a real asset, but unlike many such places, it’s not unfairly priced either in terms of the fuel or the shop.
When you consider that there’s a Tescos Express open long hours just round the corner, the shop itself is pretty well stocked with more than just essentials plus seasonal stuff such as garden toys and BBQs in the summer.
The shop is always spotlessly clean and the staff are helpful and friendly, but a really nice touch is the give a penny, take a penny pot on the counter for those annoying times when you go over by 1p when filling up your car! Great idea.
