I come here for Sunday lunch very often and the food is always good. Reliable standard and good value for money. A perfect place to take your mum for lunch. The menu is English/​European and the service is friendly and professional.

If you dismiss food poisoning we got as accidental and down to the general chance of getting it from oysters, the rest of the food we had was still very bad.
I had tuna, it was extremely overcooked as if it was left in an oven to dry up for several hours. The sauce it came with was not good either.
The rest of the dishes people in our company had were also well below average.
So all in all this place is definitely worth a ‘yak’ rating… Not coming back unless they get a new chef, but even then I’ll think twice.
