Best burger in Cambridge! We really love this place, it has the flair of an American diner. The burgers are always excellent(try the Byron) & the staff friendly. Can be quite busy, particularly on Fridays and Saturdays, so plan a 10 – 15 min wait if you haven’t booked a table.

They do «proper hamburgers» and proper they are. The cambridge location isn’t too far from where we live and technically can be on the way home. The shakes and burgers are the closest we’ve found to our beloved meaty bread meal in the states. It can be pricey, but there are plenty of lackluster pubs that serve sub par food for the same price or more. I would rather spend my money here and know that I’m leaving happy and full than go to the pub with the not so great options. Oreo milkshake is just like the the ones I grew up loving and the smokey burger is by far the best on the menu.

Brilliant place to eat and one of the best burgers and fries i’ve had in a long time! Having visited a few«Byrons» in London, when I heard there was one opening up in Cambridge I made a point of visiting it and I really wasn’t disappointed — A real proper burger! Perfect timing on our starters and mains meant little time waiting around. There was a slight mixup as we had requested no tomatoes and medium rare cooking on both our burgers, one seemed not to have quite reached medium rare and the other had a tomato, so not quite sure what happened but this didn’t ruin our experience. Our ‘While You Wait’(Tortilla chips with tomato salsa and guacamole) was wonderful and had a real home made taste which got us in a good mood. As far as price goes you seem to get what you pay for and its differently worth it. Two mains with sides and drinks was just over £30 which I thought was reasonable. Although at one point we asked for mayonnaise and was presented with a pot, thats all good, but later asking for a pot of BBQ sauce they charged £1.25 and took so long getting it for us I wouldn’t have been surprised if they had bought it from Asda, it tasted as such too. For the main we chose the Cheese Burger with American Cheese and a side of fires each, taste wise I really couldn’t complain about a thing — fantastic and i’m already looking forward to my next visit! Well done Bryon an other brilliant restaurant!

The ironically named«big» burger was £9.50 and came with nothing else, fries cost another £2.50, so the only thing big was the bill and we were still hungry. Massively disappointing. The burger did taste nice, but this place is overpriced for an American style burger place, and generally a disappointment. Especially when they added on 10% to our bill; just a burger, fries and two bottles of their own brand beer cost me over £22!
