Patients it is worth remembering that this GP surgery runs an appointment-​only system. Appointments can be booked by telephoning the surgery, or coming to the surgery. Morning appointments are available on the day, afternoon appointments can be booked up to two weeks in advance. At the moment they have a closed list and are not accepting new patients, however usually they have an open list and welcome requests for registration from patients living in or moving to the practice area. They also practice from two Branch Surgeries — Butetown Health Centre and Grangetown Health Centre.
Suffer from Asthma? Regular check-​ups and advice are available from practice nurses on lifestyle, inhaler techniques and medication.

This is the nearest surgery to Cardiff Bay and since you have to enroll in wherever is closest. That meant here for me. Grangetown doesn’t have the best reputation so I didn’t really want to go .
Typically its not that bad really, its not the most modern stylish looking doctors but its an adequate size. What I do like is that if you ring in the morning you can see a doctor within a few hours. You can also book afternoon appointments in advance so if its not so urgent you don’t feel like your wasting time.
They also have plenty of specialist surgeries too.
I would like more opening hours after 6 so you can still make it to see someone after work.
