This is a deli inside the historic Cardiff Market. An old Victorian building that remains a good source of produce from local traders. As you enter the market you will be greeted by the same smell of fresh fish that has filled my childhood memories of this place.
The Market Deli is a great alternative as a place to grab some food during your lunch hour. It has curries, noodle dishes, pasties and pies and they’re really reasonably priced. There’s no where to sit, so this is a place to grab food on the go, so it’s ideal for a lunch hour food run. A lot of what they serve are ready meals between the £2−3 range so it’s a good value for money place to get an alterative and freshly prepared meal.
