In the middle of the beautiful Lancashire countryside surrounded by sheep and cow pastures you will find the Red Pump Inn. I was continuously surprised by the high quality of food at many of the Inns in the U.K., and this Inn does not disappoint. The owners treat you like family and look after you very well. I especially enjoyed sitting outside with a pint from the bar watching the sun go down behind the rolling green hills all the while having the owners dog close at hand. The room was nice and the common use facilities were well maintained. I hope to visit again!

A brilliant place to explore the beauty of the Trough of Bowland — one of England’s best kept secrets. The couple running this pub have all the right ideas and want to make it a welcoming place, with good food, good beer and a roaring fire in winter. Very, very relaxing place to stay

Really nice food at this country pub complements a warm welcome.
The belly pork is a mainstay on the menu, and deservedly so — it’s superb. I’ve struggled to find anything disappointing here.
Two or three local real ales are well chosen and well kept.
