Can’t praise this place enough. It is awesome place for kids to come to play or cycle. One thing to note is the queue for drinks or food is huge(there is only one place to go for it) so it is worth bringing your own

Pinetum is a really beautiful place of nature in Kent. It was somewhere I visited as a child and have revisited as an adult, and it’s still as nice as ever. It has lots of tall pine trees, colourful rhododendrons and beautiful greenery. This place is full of life and beauty and I love going here to soak up and enjoy all that nature energy. There are lots of twists and turns here as you walk through, making the park interesting. Pinetum is a good place for nature lovers, families wanting a day out, people wanting to give their dog a bit of an adventure(although they have to be kept on a lead). A lovely lovely place and well worth a visit.

Where to start? There is so much to do here. Close to the Kent/East Sussex border, 2 miles off the A21 near Flimwell, Bedgebury has 10,000 specimens and the tallest tree in Kent! Highlights: Family friendly cycle tracks Singletrack mountain biking Freeride Area Cycle hire Pirate ship and other play areas Walk or run through the forest, traffic free(up to 10K loop) Go Ape — a high wire forest adventure course of rope bridges, tarzan swings and zip slides, set high up in the tree tops(extra charge). Horse riding picnic area Café Open all year, if you live nearby it’s worth buying a membership(£40.00) which gives unlimited free parking for a year for one of two specified cars(2 car regs on one ticket) This provides access to all the facilities at Bedgebury — including the Pinetum, the cycle trails and the children’s play area. I’ve taken the family there many times — definitely a firm favourite. I’ve been running here but take a map from the info centre as you’ve got to know where you’re going. There’s also a 10K race in September.
