The Old Mill

Guaranteed good food. I have eaten here many times and it is always of the same high standard, the portion sizes are good too. My favourite is sweet and sour chicken which is served with either rice or chips they certainly don’t skimp on the amount of battered chicken pieces they give you ! You must try a dessert as they have a huge range and are to die for !!!

Really nice pub food, varied menu with the usual suspects as well as some more imagionative fare. I have never had a bad meal here, probably slight more than average price for pub grub but well worth it. Held my mums birthday meal i the function room and the staff were excellent and extremely helpful. Would definarely recommend

We are repeat customers to the Old Mill, the food is always great, and lots of it.
You have to grab a table, and choose what you would like to eat from the blackboard in the main dining room. Once you have chosen what you would like to eat, go to the bar with your table number and order.
We have been on a number of occasions, and service is always great (have been when every table has been taken, and was told 40 min for food, but received it well within 30 min)
Have never had a bad meal from here, or a bad word to say about the place

This is one of my favourite bars nd restaraunts in the area. Spacious car park and pleasant surrounds. Inside a lot of the character of the old mill has been retained. One end of the place is quite light and airy with a conservatory whereas the other end of the place is predominantly lit by candles and dim lighting — cosy and romantic. There is a galleried landing where you can sit and watch everything going on.
Excellent selection of wines and food. Food menu changes regalrly and save for one occassion when our chips were cold and greasy the food has always been excellent. Possibly a little bit more expensive than some pub food but the portions are large and the food is generally good.
My only gripe is that when you were having a meal there used to be waiter service for drinks too. Now you have to get up and go to the bar regardless of whether or not you are dining.
I have not used it myself but I believe there is a function room too.
Occassional specials and promotions such a fish week.
Light lunch menu served in addition to the full menu.
