I love Limeyard. Like love love. I’ve been more times than I can count on two hands since they opened, I’ve tried the place for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner. For a date, family meal and a big group celebration– I’ve never had a bad experience. Their breakfast and brunch offerings are fantastic. The food portions are good, they taste amazing and they’re good value being similar to other restaurants in the area for price. They serve breakfast until 4.30pm weekdays and serve brunch 11am-4pm at the weekend, my kinda hours(who’s finished brunch by 12 on a Sunday ever?! Why do places do that?). Alongside their extensive breakfast menu they’re a great choice for lunch or dinner. I can thoroughly recommend most of their menu, having visited plenty of times. I found their ribs to be delicious, with plenty of sauce and no dryness. Their seasoned fries and sweet potato fries are both perfectly crisp outside and fluffy inside. A personal favourite of my boyfriend and I is nipping in for a cheap lunch and sharing the half(or full, if the four of us are out) yard of tacos for £7.95 or £14.50 respectively. With five fillings to choose from there’s an option to suit most tastes and they’re full of flavour. The pulled pork are especially good. The staff are always cheerful, smiling and genuinely happy to help. Service has always been 100% on every visit. I’d wholeheartedly recommend Limeyard to everyone.

Came here for breakfast with my bf, we had baked omelette and if I’m not mistake, the price was around 6.50£ and the pancake/hotcake around 7.50£ aprox as well, my expectation on the omelette was very poor in my imagination, however it came quite nice, it came in a hot pan and quite filling. The pancake we chose was with berries and came with maple syrup, the quality of the pancake was bit hard for me since I prefer it more soft and fluffed other than that it’s quite nice. Their coffee come with nice small little bottle of milk for u to add it yourself which is cute since I’m not from London, Canada doesn’t do this. To end the note, it’s not a bad place to visit, I would recommend and will come back to try their lunch to see if is better.

I’m American, so when I see a place advertised as an «American Restaurant» I have some pretty high hopes. This place has a nice atmosphere, very west coast, but the food just isn’t there. I will not be coming back.

Further update on this. Been here two times since and found the menu and quality of the food to be a little hot and miss. The Coca Cola ribs for example which sounds great on paper alerts simply boiled then coated with the BBQ sauce last minute leaving the flavour completely uni recreated into the mean. Also second time round the buttermilk chicken which was sensational last time was overlooked this time round. With so many good restaurants in the area would take a lot to get me back there. A shame as it was a little different than the standard faire.

On the rare occasions where we find ourselves out of the house on a Saturday morning, which isn’t often, we like to grab brunch together. Since we’ve moved to Ealing over two years ago this has happened a grand total of… one time. We often walked past LimeYard and have always liked the casual and fun vibes it has, so we thought brunch would have been a perfect chance to try it out(no risk of spoiling a whole evening out if it turned out to be terrible, I’m smart like that). Despite the nice weather we sat inside(they have a small area on the front with a few tables), the diner-style table I wanted was busy sadly so we were seated in one of the two-people square tables along the sofa/bench. Watch out as the butt might slightly slide off that one. My other half ordered a full Yard(their Americanised version of a full English) and I ordered salmon eggs benedict. They usually come with spinach, but EEWW, GREENS! so I had mine without. Instead of English muffins they are served on a massive slice of brioche, which I now prefer ten thousand times over English Muffins for my eggs benedict. It was really really really tasty, and I’m salivating just thinking about it. We also ordered a croissant with butter and jam, for good measure. Came split in two ready to welcome the spread. Very yummy. We also ordered two freshly squeezed orange juices. All was served really quickly, maybe too quick(every time I’m served within 10 minutes I feel like I’m being rushed out… but that’s me) and the service was kind and efficient. Really wish I was not back on diet so I could pop there again this weekend. OHWELL! Will definitely be back to try dinner.

Try the buttermilk chicken it’s delicious! The servers were amazing and topped up my friend’s red wine after she knocked it all over the table. Fantastic service the ribs look huge and delicious and the squid was one of the best I’ve had in the area. Top this off with the fair prices drinks and scrumptious cheesecake and you have an all round super dining experience !

This place has a pleasant enough atmosphere and has an american diner feel. Even though this is contrived its a fairly cool place. With this, my girlfriend really wanted a milkshake al a american but unfortunately they don’t do them. She wanted an apple pie flavour one, incase they are taking suggestions. We shared a halloumi burger and super salad, this being enough for a couple of light eaters. Their mocktail of ginger beer, strawberry and mint was great if you’re a sweet tooth(this almost made up for the lack of apple pie milkshake). The service was really friendly and seemed genuine. I wouldn’t be adversed to coming back one day.

This is a new edition to Ealing and I think it may be a chain. The theme is faux distressed and by gum do they achieve it-even down to the worn lino which can only be a few months old! Anyway, it was Mother’s day and we settled in upstairs and were greeted by a friendly server who wished the missus happy mother’s day. Nice touch. A cocktail I thought whilst we navigate the menu. Three mojitos ordered. We navigated and then ordered and our starters arrived. No cocktails. We grabbed our server and I shamelessly asked if the barman had gone to Miami for our mojitos. No, I was told the bar was«very busy». Anyway, they eventually arrived and we were told they were on the house! So, well done Limeyard for that. They were ok and no more than that, but at £5.95 a pop I don’t think there was cause for complaint. Onto the food, we had two starters-crab cakes and squid. The crab was supposed to come with something called corn succotash. I only recall the word succotash if it was after«suffering».. Anyway, the corn was.er. tinned corn. The crab cakes were actually quite nice. My son had squid which he thought ok but it wasn’t as crispy as it should have been. For mains I had a rump steak and it was fine. My wife had a fish dish which she thought was fine. The bill without the comped cocktails was almost £100. We all had a bottle of beer to follow mojitos. So all told, pretty pricey. I probably wont return I’m afraid.
