Good fish and chips and very reasonably priced. You get decent sized portions, nice chunky chips wrapped in paper not polystyrene. Only downside was I’ve had better fish, the batter wasn’t very crispy, and they forgot to give me my mushy peas. Its nice in that it seems somewhere the locals would go and beats pricier more touristy chip shops near the seafront. I would probably return but might try something other than the cod.

traditional sea side fish and chips at their best, eat in is also possible, very popular with locals. I like it because they do Huss… which used to be called rock salmon, they also do pickled eggs and onions.

Both me and my wife regard this as the 2^nd best chippy in Eastbourne, though for range of food they come 1^st!
We’ve always found the staff to be friendly, and have never had a problem. They take a lot of pride in the food and the quality far surpasses most other chippy’s I’ve been to not only in Eastbourne but in general.
I can’t fault any aspect of this place, it only comes in 2^nd place because of the amazing chips at Bake & Take.

Looked for fish and chips in Eastbourne on Qype and found this shop. Decided to eat in, Fish and chips freshly cooked (we had to wait a few minutes) with mushy peas, bread and butter, cup of tea for me and a glass of wine for my good lady, more than good will go back again. Served by a very pleasant and chatty young lady, I would recommended this to anyone.

Fab fish and chips — staff a bit stand offish but certainly doesn’t affect the quality of food! Give it a go.

Probably the only place in town that does battered burgers! Generally okay food — portions are small and dont feel like you get much value for money but its quick and convenient. Ate inside once and wouldnt do that again — generally tatty and though licensed, youre better off popping into the off licence next door and taking your food home as the price shoots up.

Beautiful fish and chips every visit — i have never been disappointed. Nice and fresh, good choice of accompaniments (pies, savaloy, fishcakes, cod etc) which are all just as nice as the chips. Not too expensive. Quick service — don’t think i’ve ever waited longer than about 7 or 8 minutes, even with a large order. You can eat in, or takeaway — i’ve always taken away however the dining area seems perfectly adequate. I highly recommend the food. I have several other fish & chip shops nearer to where i live than this one but i still always go here if at all possible. A huge plus point is that they are open oin Sundays, which is rather rare for Fish & chip shops in Eastbourne. Parking can be a bit of a pain, but you can usually double park within view of the shop window to keep an eye out for traffic wardons!
