Always happy visiting here, especially for Sunday lunch, friendly staff, good service, and good location. Dinner area or bar area for food and nice outdoor seating.
They even forgave me for forgetting to pay my bill one Sunday as the staff know me. At Christmas it’s worth a visit just to see the amazing décor, it’s just crazy but awesome. Highly recommended.

This pub is quite nice, with over half the area devoted to the restaurant part. We sat in the conservatory area, which was quite bright and airy. It’s probably worth making a reservation (as we did) as this place tends to be quite busy.
The food was very nice. The meal I had (sausage and mash) wasn’t particularly good value at a shade over ten pounds. My friends had chosen a better value meal in the form of garlic chicken which was served on giant oval plates for around ten pounds.
Service was very good, the food was served good and hot and there is the full range of pub drinks (including a good range of draught ciders) to take advantage of.

I absolutely love this pub. The staff are brilliant fun, the drinks are priced low enough that you don’t feel ripped off but high enough that it’s not full of teenage idiots and other punters that would put you off returning for a pint another time. The food is great (wild boar sausages and mash being my favourite) and generally a good atmosphere all round. At Christmas time things really get interesting when I presume they buy up every decoration in a 10 mile radius and put them all up in one go. Well worth a visit at any time of the year.

Dieses Restaurant hat schon was eigenartiges. Das ganze Restaurant ist mit Weihnachtsdekoration behanden, überall bunte blinkende Lichter und Kunstranken. Man sieht mehr an Deko, als vom eigentlichen Laden.
Das Essen war sehr reichhaltig und typisch british. Sehr gut.
Eiskaltes Bier vom Fass — hat sehr gemundet und es blieb auch nicht bei einem.
Das Gebäude ist nah am Wasser und einen Parkplatz zu finden ging, aber am Wochenende wird es wohl ziemlich eng.

Always had good food and a warm welcome from this pub/​restaurant. Food is home made, and delicious. Good choice on the menu, some very over the top Christmas decorations, nice for a quick meal with the children, or for an evening out. Parking can be somewhat difficult at times, but then, if you are going out to have a few, then you dont need the car anyway! Definately worth a mention.

Fantastic pub and wonderful food. The Christmas decorations are out of this world — well worth a special trip to have a relaxing drink whilst enjoying a ‘grown up santas grotto’! The food is freshly cooked, maybe a little on the pricey side for pub food but you get what you pay for. Plenty of seating with a restaurant area and patio seating at the back of the building and a warm cosy area at the front, with sofas and an open fire. Vast array of drinks with a few home made liquid refreshments available — i recommend the homemade chilli vodka (i think it was vodka!!!) shots — yummy!
Friendly staff and nice atmosphere, can get busy at times but well worth a visit. Kids are welcome although not at the bar, which is fair enough.
