I went in here with my Aunt while visiting Glasgow. She told me how much she adored their Eydis Collection. So I came back in and had a gift box made of their products. I found it reasonably priced for the quality and I received excellent customer service.

I have to admit that there are lots of places in Glasgow which sell lovely bath and body related products such as Molten Brown, Lush, the Body Shop and L’Occitaine(my personal favorite) to name but a few. As such I’m afraid I don’t give Arran Aromatics much of a look in. I find the packaging to be pretty dull and I find many of the fragrances to be very old fashioned. The famous«After the Rain» collection, for example, always reminds me of my gran. Don’t get me wrong, I love my gran but I do not want to smell like her! The staff in this store do approach you and ask if they can give you a hand with anything. Even if you say no thank you, they help you anyway. A lovely lady once explained to me how to use some lavender soap, which is a good thing because soap doesn’t come with instructions and I’ve always wondered exactly how you are supposed to use it! Cough, cough I am being sarcastic. In saying all that though you do often find a selection of Arran Aromatics products in some 4 and 5 star hotels in Scotland and of course I nick them all. I’m no idiot, free stuff is free stuff!

Now, this is the kind of place that you usually wouldn’t find me in. However, when birthdays are just round the corner, this is exactly the place to hot foot it to! It has a large selection of lovely smellies, the ideal present for any female. The staff are very friendly and provide advice freely on which products are best for what and how to use them in order to get the best results. Meanwhile, the packaging is simply and classy. This is definitely taking over Lush’s previous pride of place on the gift-shopping front.

I imagine that the kind of woman who is always beautifully made-up, fashionably dressed and sporting professionally blow-dried hair shops here. In fact, she probably starts her daily beauty routine with a soak in a tub overflowing with heavenly smelling Arran Aromatics products. So, in my mixed-up thinking — I imagine that if I just started shopping regularly for bath products at Arran Aromatics instead of Boots then I would be transformed to one of these ladies. I’m not sure exactly when the transformation would happen, maybe as soon as the debit card transaction went though, or maybe as I unscrewed bottle number one and poured it liberally into the running bath water. Or maybe, maybe it’s just all in my head. The fact remains, though, that Arran Aromatics in the Prince’s Square shopping centre is a beautiful shop. If you’re looking for a present for a female, then you can’t go wrong here — never mind if it’s for your younger sister or for your great-grandmother. All the products are beautifully packaged as well as being just, well, heavenly. Newest discovery? They sell little boxes of fabulous Belgian chocolates in here. Do you think they’ll let me move in?!

Lovely store with helpful staff! Always stocks lovely gift sets at reasonable prices. I would really recommend the After the rain range, Lip balm is gorgeous! Also sells fragrant candles which smell beautiful!
