Build A Bear

The build a bear workshops are great for kids! I took my 5 year old brother to one yesterday and he was beside himself. First he had to choose which bear he wanted, prices range from £8 up to £20 so there is something to suit all budget. There are all types of animals to choose from and then traditional teddy bears too. My brother chose a Winnie The Pooh bear which came with a tshirt on for £10. he had to take his empty bear over to the stuffing machine, and the girl let him operate the pedal while she stuffed it, he then got to choose a heart to go in his bear and then watched as the girl stitched it up. You are given a barcode to take over to a computor where you name your bear and put the childs name in, irt then prints out a certificate which you collect at the till, the bear and the certificate then go into a box shaped like a house. I thought it was well worth the £10 considering how involved they let the kids get, and my brother was delighted!
